I totally almost walked out too. I kind of stood there for a minute debating whether I should just come another day and get there on time, but when I turned towards the door a woman was like, "there are mats at the front" so I went and got one and so glad I stayed! :)

The day after doing the shred, I was really surprised not to feel too sore and stiff when I woke up....but when I started doing day 2 of the shred...OMG, I definitely felt it!!

That's about what I burn too. My HR is always higher than my optimal zone. If I tried to stay in the zone, I would only be able to walk...I'm hoping as I lose weight and get into even better shape that it will continue to go down.

so true! I started 30DS last month and had other workouts scheduled on top of it. Zumba twice a week and jogging 3x a week. It was too much and I burned myself out and caused some pain in my legs. I had a bone spur on my knee and a small piece had actually broken off in front of it too. It was very painful and I opted to get surgery. The FT4 is great! It counts calories and you can replace the battery yourself unlike some Polar models. It does what you need it too, but doesn't have a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles. :) Very user friendly. I got mine on Amazon for about $65, but not sure how much it is now.
