I love Hot & Sour Soup. I love soup in general and have decided to make a lot of it homemade during the cold winter months. This is definitely being added to my list! Thanks for sharing!!!

I have the Polar FT4 and I like it. It is my first real HRM though. I love that it tells the calories burned. This model doesn't have the option to change the VO2 thing, though. You just enter your height and weight and sex. I get higher numbers than on MFP, but my heart rate does get pretty high, so I think it might be…

i have this same dilemma. all of the marinades are so high in sodium...my hubby tried to soak the chicken in a vinegar/water/ginger mixture, but it didn't pick up the flavor very well and it was a little bland... i thought about trying some citrus juices next time. i don't know...hopefully someone has a good idea! :)

Thank you wilted6orchid and gethealthyincali. Yeah, processed foods are my problem, but I also am not a huge fan of cooking to elaborately. I don't like to spend too long on something. I'm gonna just have to deal with the excess sodium or make myself start cooking more from scratch...I need a chef! lol. Like Curtis…

I can't answer your question, but how on earth do you stay under 1000 mg a day? You must share your secret with me! ;) Sodium is where I have my main problems. I'm always over and usually by about 500-1000. The only way I come in under is if I am under 1200 on my calories, which doesn't work...even if you are a little low…

Thank you!

The chicken sounds great! I will have to try this. Thank you for sharing. How much counts as a serving of the chicken?

That's awesome! It must be really cool to know someone you can root for. I love that show and I wouldn't miss it for anything! Those people are such inspirations. I'll be rooting for them! Keep us updated. :)

Wow...great video! How can you NOT workout after watching that?? :) Thanks for sharing!
-
Yeah, that's what I was going to do, but didn't think about the fact that people might not go back and see it. So, I guess it works out to just repost after all. ;)
-
Why isn't it giving me the option to edit my post? I posted early and figured I would update it by editing throughout the week as I do miles, but the edit option isn't there??

Same here with processed foods...I just cannot come in under my sodium, EVER! I even shop for low sodium and no sodium added, but still come out over. :( I try to think of alternatives to the processed things I eat and I just don't know what to replace them with or else I would pretty much be eating the same thing every…

skinny jeans!! jeans are my least favorite thing to shop for right now mostly because I hate the size I am in. I can't wait to see what size i will wear when i have lost all the weight!

I have both and they are pretty different. If you are just wanting something fun to keep you active, then Just Dance 1 or 2 is great for that. Biggest Loser on the other hand is a major workout and offers a lot more than Just Dance. You can set weight loss goals and have weekly weigh ins. It has a calorie tracker and gives…

Awesome job! I just recently started running. I am doing intervals of running and walking to work my way into it. I ran .75 mi today which is NOTHING compared to a half marathon!!! But I'm proud of myself for that little bit because I had knee surgery a year and a half ago and haven't run for like 10 years...no joke!!…

Exercise seems to help everyone's cramps, but me. It made mine worse. I try to still exercise sometimes during TOM, but it never helps me feel better? Not fair!

my HRM is also higher than the numbers on here, but you have to remember that the bigger you are, the more out of shape and the higher your HR goes, the more calories you burn. people who are in better shape actually have to work harder to burn calories than those of us who are out of shape. (it's probably about the only…

Yea! I love that too. Yesterday mine told me that I will be out of the Obese category and just overweight in 5 weeks. That would be awesome!!!

I had a bone spur and a small piece of bone had also broken off in front of it so it was very painful at times. I could not kneel on my knees at all and sometimes my knee would almost give out. I had surgery and had the spur removed. I don't know if that is an option for you, but other than the scar, i'm glad i did it. It…

That's awesome!! I would not have had that much self control...that's why I just DON'T go to those places. I'm not strong enough yet...hopefully someday. I LOVE deep dish pepperoni also. It is sooo high in fat and sodium. I made some homemade pizza a few weeks ago. I used turkey pepperoni and a whole wheat pizza crust, fat…

I had my official weigh in day on Tuesday because it's when Biggest Loser airs so I am kind of weighing in with them. ;) but i tend to check my weight almost everyday. (i know this is bad, but can't seem to break the habit) Everyone has something that works best for them! Hope you find what works for you!!
-
wow. that looks like a great workout! don't think i'm quite fit enough for that yet, but hopefully by summer i will be ready to tone up! :)
-
There is no way to really tell what you average should be based on this because so many things factor into heart rate. Age, weight, height, specific activities you are doing. You also have to remember that your body burns a certain number of calories throughout the day just doing nothing so if you are wearing it all day,…

Oh ok. :) That makes sense! I will probably still start this week, though, cause I have never taken on anything like this, so I can probably use a headstart! ;)

Interesting topic! I am always bloated as well, but unlike most people...I cannot burp. At all! Weird I know...many people have tried to teach me, but it just doesn't happen. I don't really chew gum anymore, but I do eat fat free yogurts and stuff that probably has the artificial sweetener. Never would have thought that…

So, I was just making out a spreadsheet to keep track of my miles and there is actually 7 weeks until V-day. FYI. :)
