cool! I look at hulu a lot, but this one has all of them in one place!
-
thanks for all the feedback. I was considering one, but wasn't sure how the strap would feel or if it would fall off or something. thanks everyone!

Well that just stinks! Too bad you don't have a more supportive work environment. I wish you luck! Just be strong. My boss still brings in a box 'o muffins every morning. I look at that box and never even attempt to open it. I am afraid that if I see a wonderful chocolate muffin, I will cave. Yeah, sometimes it gets…

You do whatever aerobic exercise you want. Treadmill, bike, etc. It doesn't matter what you are doing, it's how you are doing. You would follow that little chart. Thanks for the info, I was already doing short 1 min bursts of high intensity, but this gives me a specific chart to folllow! Thanks for posting!

I agree, don't beat yourself up over something in the past. Just move forward. And keep in mind, it has to be a lifestyle change. Don't start a drastic exercise regimen or crazy diet, unless it's something you can keep up for a lifetime. Good luck, I have faith that you will do fine!

I just finished watching it on Tuesday. FYI, it's playing for FREE over on hulu.com here is the link: http://www.hulu.com/watch/63283/super-size-me I started out listening to his audio book first (Don't Eat this Book) which I found extremely interesting. I picked it up at my local library and saved it on my iPhone so I…

I use Polaner's, I have found it's the lowest in sugar grams. I don't do Smuckers, they seem too commercial for me. I dont trust a company that uses high fructose corn syrup in their products.

like this? http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp Not sure if that is what you mean by "a meal" but it's for calculating recipes.
-
Stephanie, yep, you learned a valuable lesson. That's good. Everyone makes mistakes, and we all fall off the wagon. Hopefully the weight you gained is just temporary water bloat or something. I am sure you will be right back on track and things will start to look up! Good luck

Welcome! I love it here too. You have a great attitude, I am sure you will reach your goals!
-
oh dear, it does sound like your boyfriend is very selfish! Time for YOU to be selfish now! You might be slower than him, but it would be nice if he took a little time and ran with you to support you! As for logging in calories, I know what you mean about finding time. I am lucky that I can use my cell phone to log in…

I use this web site first: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp then I figure out the servings, and add a new food product on myfitnesspal

Hello and welcome to MFP. I am still fairly new here myself, but I just love it! I am going to be honest about your situation. It sounds like you are trying to lose weight for your boyfriend and not YOU. Hounding you to get back into shape and get hot hot isn't going to help you! It doesn't sound like he likes you for YOU…
-
yum, I never thought about using orange marmalade in cooking. what a great idea!
-
Have you set up your acct on myfitnesspal? The thing that works for me is being held accountable for all the calories I eat. it's forced me to look at what I am eating and make better choices, for fear of "wasting" the calories on something empty like sugary snacks. Good luck on your new adventures at school!
-
That is just spectacular! congrats
-
I try not to deprive myself from anything that I love. Mac & Cheese and all the other goodies in moderation, but I realize that some people can't have their faves in smaller portions, and that is too bad.
-
I love whole grain bread and some cashew or peanut butter.
-
Can't do anything about the past, just move forward and do the best you can. It's hard, but you can do it!!!!
-
good for you!!
-
I seem to be at a plateau myself, but I am trying to have the same attitude. I feel awesome, my clothes feel better, and I just feel healthier. If I dont' lose anymore weight, well, it's okay! I wish you luck! The only thing I can add (or repeat) is drink more water. I think it does help!
-
Oh I am so sorry. Take care!
-
oh I like this. Hope I can make it sometime! Thanks

I am so glad to hear that they aren't your "normal" crowd! How terrible. And I agree with the others, good that you called your dad. Not at all embarrassing! I think he would appreciate a phone call asking for a ride home, rather than the horrific phone call from a policeman telling him that you were in an accident. I…

I think, (and I could be wrong) but most of those calories are already going to be figured into your everyday activity level when you set your "goals" I think it's good to note your figures somewhere in your diary, but I don't' think I would be taking those calories as actual aerobic exercise.

I am so sorry that you went through this, but it also might serve as a wakeup call to you that maybe you need to surround yourself with more positive people. A true friend, drunk or not, would never leave another friend behind, especially when she's feeling sick. And DD should be responsible and not drink. Sorry, just…

I use this one: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp I'll have to check out the one at about.com to compare!

Thanks! bumped to read later!
