  • Had planned to make this for a Saturday night in this evening - was super excited too. But disaster! Apparently there's no such thing as fat free mozzarella in Woolworths in Australia?! Best they had was 40% fat free. :(
  • Brekkie is my favourite meal of the day at the moment. I have a 40g bowl of Special K with 1/2 cup skim milk, one sliced strawberry and a small handful of blueberries (and about 1/2 a tsp of sugar, but please don't tell my hips!) If I plan ahead I sometimes treat myself to Carman's original muesli with low fat strawberry…
  • I had plateaued for about 3-4 weeks and was only on 1200 calories. Still exercising, still eating right. Then last week due to various work commitments etc I ended up moving my schedule around so that most nights I could only fit in my work out about an hour before bed instead of my usual 5:30pm, and 3 more stubborn lbs…
  • Hello everyone I'm 5'3" (and three quarters!) and currently weigh 133lb. I want to be 125lb by August 4th (I have a big party) and then I'll see how I look/feel. I went down to 125 once before a couple of years ago, but a friend of mine told me I looked too thin and suited by curves more. I guess we'll see. Most of my…

  • aidenvail, you make a very valid point. I really should wean myself off the sugar at least, because I know I have a sweet tooth anyway and I'm usually always over on my sugar intake. So I reckon long term I shall do as you suggest, bit by bit. In the meantime though I need an alternative sweetener! :)
  • Nothing actually. I get individual cans from the supermarket that come with different sauces or flavourings. Yesterday I had this one: http://www2.woolworthsonline.com.au/Shop/ProductDetails?Stockcode=226392&name=woolworths-select-tuna-with-lemon-cracked-pepper - was pretty tasty by itself on the crackers with some…
  • You know what stopped me snacking unhealthily? Planning to snack. I now have breakfast, 2nd breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, a snack when I get home from work, and then dinner after my workout. Today I'm having: B: Special K B2: 1 slice of soy and linseed toast with light flora L: Soup AT: Low fat yoghurt S: 6 seseme…
  • Never heard of Stevia. Will give it a go. Always assumed any other sweeteners would be artificial and bad for you. Shows what I know. Thanks!
  • I usually use the microwave to be honest. My local supermarket do some delicious and filling tubs of fresh soup that are 97% fat free. Heat them up with the lid on loosely and maybe the nasty germs won't get in?! Aside from that I've been known to have vita-wheat crackers with light philly, cucumber and tomatoes. Or with…
