Sounds like your still doing well.. Some days you just need to go over and burn it off over the next day or 2... Don't be hard on yourself..

I was exactly the same as you.. I recommend drinking heaps of water (12 to 15 glasses a day) and logging into MFP daily and enter everything that you eat... If you go over your calories then work it off with exercise this way you will start to wonder if it's worth all the extra exercise.. Has worked for me. Good luck with…

I believe they are only to be used when you exercise... About the settings, mine I input my age, weight and gender and it automatically calculates my max heart rate etc..
