I'll assess the old bike first, a project for next year I think.

Gotta say I love what you've done, I'm not sure I have the mechanical know how to do the same myself, not just that but getting the parts required to fix mine up that's sitting in the shed. I may just plump for getting a retro bike, what's your thoughts on the official Eroica bike, personally I think it's beautiful and…

Duel hamster processing, I like it!

Yep I use the 520 as the reliable main device and use the 810 as navigation, only ever click 'Save' on the 810 if the 520 fails which has happened once so far with my club sportive, so glad I have two devices!

On a serious note it would be really useful to Mark and myself for riders to periodically check that the ride data is correct, because the data is fetched from Strava once every 60 seconds it's possible CycLeagues may pick up any duplicates, where someone has uploaded a ride, deleted and then uploaded again likely using a…

I'll apologise in advance for any hamsters that collapse in the line of duty. For some it's about motivation:

You know we could have a Minor Tour league points system, just a thought :)
-
CycLeagues TdF Teams updated, we are ready to roll.
-
Great project and I'd love to have something similar to that, would make for a fun ride option.
-
^^^^^ Agreed, I bought an Evo a few months back and was so impressed with it I bought another as a second racer, during it's 3,725km ridden so far it's been a beautiful ride, love the Cannondale Si FSA chainsets too, mechanically sound and had zero issues with it so far. The only thing the Cannondale falls down on is the…

Nice one Alan and Derek and good to see some different faces grabbing the spoils.

CycLeagues updated with the teams, My other half who is not a member of MFP is currently stuck in one place however if we have any willing MFP members wanting a go then you can take her slot.

This is HopHead aka Marc Ms details: https://www.strava.com/athletes/8181839
-
I've sent you a PM on the Strava club you need to join for this.
-
We can also use JSSTurbo id as a 'Ghost rider' if need be: https://www.strava.com/athletes/4357846 This can then be replaced by any late comer but you can at least design the teams for a full compliment now if you fancied.
-
Or 1 place if you don't mind me having Adrienne on my team as mentioned above: 'What I'll also do is stick Adrienne on my team, she's not on MFP but she will get a kick out of being on a TDF team, she's on CycLeagues too, her Strava ID is https://www.strava.com/athletes/7373778'

Ok Steves all sorted, CycLeagues login sorted too, I've PM'd the details.
-
Ok cool, club invite sent.
-
I've PM'd 35dollars with the details of the Strava club

lol yep, I'll be taking spare brake pads :) The final weekend is pretty scary actually but I've been wanting to do the Lakes for a long time and that dark blue line will be the final day of all those rides, I'll be having Monday off after to chill for each of the weekends too which helps mentally. The first two weekends…

OK here's the details of those three touring weekends: Full details of the routes etc can be seen here: http://jasonssavage.blogspot.co.uk/p/julys-triple-weekend-tour.html Again this is all for raising a few funds for charity: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Jason-Savage3

Sounds like fun, I think my little project may well have to wait until next year, not enough hours in the day!
-
Yeh I had planned on riding a couple of metrics in the middle for 'team km/going for the win' reasons but to be honest I think that may be a bad idea and any kms will likely be limited in between these three day weekends, I think last time I did the Yorkshire and Wales trips I was pretty wiped out for a few days, it's the…

Yes Bills all sorted Mark. Here's some confirmation of what I'm likely to be doing during Le Tour with the focus on climbing as well as distance. Wales 400+ hilly miler on the 8th Yorkshire 300+ hilly miler on the 15th and finally the Lakes which is likely gonna be a 400+ miler on the 22nd. Got some route planning to do,…
-
That's a pretty good indicator and a great foundation now to build on, congrats!
-
No probs, I'll sent invites to the club today and sort out an account.
-
This is a pretty smart idea, week off for me so it'll be interesting to see who tops the others. Thanks for the charity mention, every £/$/€/¥ etc counts.
-
Sounds like a good idea.
-
I'm in, I had planned on doing 100 miles a day for 10 days during this but having got this in already last week the mileage will be a little more sensible, but so you can plan the teams here is my plan: Imperials+ will be saved for days off (I have three day weekends during this tour with Fridays off) and may well be…

Sounds like a winning idea to me.
