Chuffed to see this too, as far as average speeds go you are the king. Ditto Nice one Mark, you are and always have been a fantastic inspiration, I know this ends with a tinge of sadness BUT know this .... in me you created a monster! lol, it's no coincidence that I stepped my game up during the themed challenges, I went…

Well done you! This one is still on my list.
-
Want one! Lol

Cheers Mark, yes join us, we have cookies you know ...

No, your rides are still private, as you have 'Enhanced Privacy Mode' on you would have approve me to follow you on Strava in order to collect your stats via the Strava Club, only those who follow you on Strava can see your ride data. @35dollars Thanks for the endorsement.

Any of the cyclists in here interested in a Summer Challenge? When: 1st June to 30th September. What rides will count? Turbo & Outdoor rides all valid via the Strava Club feed where I fetch the data automatically using a system called CycLeagues which you can login to at any time to view the live league standings.…

I'm glad they seem to be making more, found them a nice change over Winter then the Zwift going round a short circuit time and time again, reminds me I need to kill that subscription for now.
-
Skull cap and neck warmer combo .... I'd never do a winter ride without them, when your not that fast these warm comforts really help.
-
Funky little utility, thanks for sharing, didn't seem as bad out as the predicted 40mph gusts that had been forcast today.
-
Looks superb, I may have to wander up the way, at a max of 20% it's challenging but you can grind your way up that, much nicer then the 'I'm about to fall off my bike 30%+ at hardknott pass in the lakes, that was more a wall then a climb.

Can't do it without Arnie!
-
Lol I love that movie!

I'm tempted to go for something that's battery powered, similar concept but multiple use: http://www.thinksport.co.uk/HX-02_S.html?gclid=CjwKEAiAz4XFBRCW87vj6-28uFMSJAAHeGZbts2DSxTBEa-gEG__Gzi7WABCsC19cy2Uswf3LmBZBxoCMPzw_wcB

Nice, I'll have to try them, frozen feet are the biggest issue with <1c
-
Nice! I need to get me some of those!
-
At least I got the home victory :) I think having these as selected 'opt-in' challenges in CycLeagues would be a nice addition, another thing on the to-do list.

If it's a decent ride, so greater then 50km I tend to do this these days: Kiss Adrienne, I always find this amusing while covered in sweat and grease, her expression is usually a combination of disgust and horror. Strip down to give the neighbours a good show, stick cycling clothes in the washing machine, prep some…

I've done it on Zwift and it's challenging as it's easy to quit, get off and watch TV instead :) doing 100 miles of 2km loops sounds like utter torture to me though.
-
lol possibly ... of course I've yet to have anything go to plan.
-
Worth adding these mini-tours in the Facebook page for exposure I recon, how about one for the Tour of Britain? :)
-
Page created for next weeks event, over a year in the planning and training, thought it would be nice to have one place to stick all the updates, pics, rides and hopefully raise a little awareness for the event and a little more for the Cancer research charity: https://www.facebook.com/sceniclejog2016/

CycLeagues: We have 31 out of the 52 members on the CycLeagues Facebook information group now: https://www.facebook.com/groups/118072208643394/ This is the central information point for all things CycLeagues and MFP Cycling challenges .... well that's the idea. If your not a member of the above group please consider…

Yep unfortunately due to 'issues' with the current logic and a frigged export list it's a pain to adjust so we had to freeze the entry list, also sliding in a big hitter late on for balancing the teams would mean everything gets re-jigged. For those that are late to the ball you can always compete in the 'every man for…
-
Nice one Mark, I'll update CycLeagues on Monday evening if that's ok, unlikely to get time before that but I'll let you know if I do.
-
I've been doing these challenges for a number of years and love them, having to miss out on this due to a holiday but I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys a team based challenge based on a real life grand tour. All abilities welcome from the beginner wanting to improve to the extreme rider looking for glory, everyone has a…

lol I would but the stats would be mental, week 1 would be pretty low (basic fitness maintenance), week 2 would be total rest leading upto LeJog and week 3 would be through the roof stats wise in the region of 1-200 miles per day. Next years will be a different beast entirely and I'm taking a year out of doing anything…
-
My focus may be on LeJog but I'll be watching this one with interest, as I'm not playing it'll be less this: and more this:

30/7/16 - Classica San Sabastian - 71.8km - 496m - https://www.strava.com/activities/658308642

lol awesome and very true, everyone who takes part is a winner in my book regardless of position.
-
That would be pretty cool.
