  • I never deny myself during the week, if I want something I have it - but one day a weekend I let myself eat just as much cheese/pasta as I like. I always find that I can run further and longer the next day. I feel more energetic. I don't believe in denying myself and taking the joy from food. I couldn't imagine eating 8000…
  • I gave up smoking on 23rd April, gained 3lbs, 2lb of which I have lost again. I also gave up in 2006 and gained about 3 stone. The difference this time is that I substituted cigarettes with water instead of chocolate and sweeties :)
  • Do you take measurements? I haven't seen any real difference on the scale, but I measure and weigh weekly. In the last couple of weeks I've put on an lb, but have lost an inch from all my measurements except my stomach, which is down 2.5.
