  • Goal weight on January 31st: 185 1/01: 192.8 1/09: 1/16: 1/23: 1/30:
  • Since we're stating the obvious, there's an even crazier feature called the shift key so that you're not e-yelling by typing in all caps in every post. To the OP, spinach is great in omelettes dips I dice it in stews like chili I also cook spinach and tomatoes together in a pan with italian seasoning & add a little…
  • Up 1.4 for the month. Was down 3 the week before Christmas.
  • Congratulations on your pregnancy! I wasn't.
  • make homemade versions of your favorite fast food items. someone posted a recipe on MFP a few days ago for a home big mac. You can search the internet for recipes for your other favorites as a way to meet your cravings with a healthier version.
  • MFP is telling you what you will weigh if you ate like you did on that one day. So if you're consistently eating at the same level it should be accurate. But if your net calories are all over the place, then the 5 week prediction will be too. When I used Dietpower for tracking it had a graph that went out into the future &…
  • I'll be part of the joining in January, staying through February and leaving in March crowd this year because I have a 10 mile race in April & I need treadmill access to stay conditioned until it warms up & I can do more outdoor running in March. I hope the regulars are nice & welcoming to all us of probies/newbies or…
  • I found pulled a human hair out of my mouth earlier this year after biting into one & someone else found a cat hair in the same batch. I was never crazy about homemade "goodies" anyway, but that killed any temptation.
  • How did you stand being in a public restroom stall for the 15 minutes that it would take to feed a baby? The thought of being in a public restroom a second longer than absolutely necessary makes me gag. I am very modest & I breastfed - in public when we were in public. All the things I thought I would have worried…
  • It's a great opportunity to educate your son (& probably shift your own thinking). It's not just a piece of paper. It is a gift. It's probably one of the better presents that he gets since most toys & clothing for a child that age end up in a great pile of junk after a few months.
  • It's okay.
  • I like curry beans, vegetables, and chicken. I don't usually measure when I cook but here are my guesstimates: 1 cup dry black beans 1 onion, 8 oz diced mushrooms, 1 bell pepper - all diced & pan sauteed 4 finely diced celery stalks 2 oz boneless skinless chicken jamaican curry powder (add 1 or 2 hours before the end)…
  • Would you please list the accounts/banks that paid any type of interest in 2011? Usually, the interest free loan thing makes sense, but in an environment where interest rates are close to zero it's not a big deal.
  • [Insert person here] is mean to me because I lost weight. Why isn't your food diary open debates. Why is bumping an issue? Bookmarking is not the same as bumping. Bookmarking is personal. Bumping gets replies from others without committing the sin of creating a repetitive thread. (Being facetious, of course. All debates…
  • I dropped into the 180s earlier this month, but after the holidays I am eligible for membership.
  • If you are in a long term relationship with someone that you intend to marry, but have not married, there probably is good reason for the delay and hesitation and those same reasons should be considered when thinking about having a child with your boyfriend. If you are set on having a child without being married, it's a…
  • Thrift store shopping but only on 50% off days. Most purchases are comparison shopped online before entering the store. Couponing. . . definitely couponing.
  • I am fit12012 on EA Active. I just checked and saw that I have not been on since 12/10/11 but I intend to start again today.
  • alcohol, mac & cheese, & lasagna - the indulgence lasted for 2 days
  • IMHO, 21 is too young to have a child by choice, especially if you are single/unmarried. There is a HUGE gulf between thinking you will be with your BOYFRIEND for life & the two of you making the commitment of being married. It is a little odd that his parents have been suggesting children to you since you were a teenager.…
  • I can join you on the alcohol for 4.5 months, but not the chocolate. I've already decided to give up alcohol beginning 1/2/12 while training for a 10 mile race and the warrior dash, but i'll probably have a glass of beer at the finish line in May.
  • I'm going to freeze my leftovers in single sized servings. I'm OK with the one day calorie splurge, especially for my all time favorite food (mac and cheese) but I don't want to turn it into a calorie streak.
  • I have the Garmin 305 and I love it. I don't think I've used half the features. That's one of my 2012 goals.
  • 12/1 SW - 191.4 12/19 188.3 down 2.9
  • Love it I will lose 15 by V Day as well. That's when I go back to the doc 4 a weight check in. She made the appt 4 accountability.
  • Great job! You are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
  • Love this! The latest install is about exercising control during holidays.
  • Yes, I want logging to be a daily habit & it will help me create an honest picture as I work towards my 12/31 goal. I'm going to eat what I want & bust through my calorie budget:tongue: but since my body is counting it, I might as well. I will probably add a significant amount of extra calories to that day in advance so…
  • I don't measure but I usually whip 3 whites & 1 half yolk Saute a cup of spinach, some onions, green peppers, and mushrooms & a slice of Sam's Club Turkey bacon. Pour the egg mixture over sauteed veggies, flip, sprinkle a little fat free cheddar or feta. Fold & top with a slice of fresh tomato.
