  • Hi all. Feel free to add me. Mom of toddler looking to lose the baby weight and committed to making this the last year that the extra baby pounds are an issue for me. This requires a lot of planning to fit in exercise and healthier eating. I'm using running, green smoothies and 30 Day Shred to help me get there.

  • Day 2 of level 2 completed today. I'm struggling but I'm going to work on some of the moves throughout the day like the jump squats and the plank twists. I'm sweating more than level 1.

  • Day 8, Level 1 - I have been really dragging on this as life got in the way (sick kid) but I am ready to return to 5 days a week. This has been a supplement to my 10 miler race training & I feel like my running is improving. I have been performing the circuit moves in spurts even on days when I didn't complete the tape.
  • I joined the Healthy Wage 10% challenge. I lose money if I don't lose weight. My greatest motivator (honestly) is wearing and looking nice in my smaller clothing & almost a tie is my health.
  • Aldi - great for a lot of things, but I really like frozen meat & fresh produce.   • water, jacket, mp3 player, headphones, hat, 2 magazines I have a short window to workout most days - just enough time for a cardio machine so I throw my stuff in a locker & hit my machine. I keep my phone (timer for interval training) & my keys with me at all times. I probably should buy a lock.
  • Make grab & go breakfasts & lunch options that will keep in the fridge/freezer for 2 or 3 days & make several meals - - salad in a jar (I use tall ziploc containers) -oatmeal in a jar - green smoothies -egg white/veggie omelettes in muffin cups - portion, chop & bag snacks for the work week - nuts, popcorn, raw veggies

  • I like podrunner.com. They have interval workouts that build you up to a 5k, 8k and 10k.
  • I paid $99 for one year at Planet Fitness. Otherwise, it's usually 10 down and 10 per month. People like Tiffany Rothe's youtube workout videos. If you have a gaming system, Wii games like EA Sports Actives have a lot of options for different workouts in one game. Find a building with multiple flights and walk the stairs.
  • Day 7 done. A little under the weather last week. I'm going to try to finish Level 1 this week.
  • Day 6. Level 1 done today. I made it through all of the cardio and the ab bicycles. Still struggling through girl push ups and I want to sink deeper into the lunges.
  • Day 5 completed yesterday. I can keep up with the higher level on all of the cardio. I can make it further on the bicycles without stopping. I'm doing girl push ups & keeping up longer.

  • I joined the 10% challenge as of 1/7/12.
  • I am signing up today for the 10% challenge today. When my BMI is closer to 30 (about 16 lbs) I'm going to sign up for the BMI challenge. Anyone else doing it now?
  • 2 magazines, water, & mp3 player I have a short window to workout so I go in, go straight to a machine & workout. If I'm doing the 30 min. circuit I just sit my jacket in a corner.
  • Day 1 level 1 done. On the tape she says that I'll be surprised by how my body has adapted & my endurance has increased by day 5. I'm looking forward to that day.
  • I'm abstaining until I lose at least 10% of my body weight - not just because of the calories, but also because of how the body burns alcohol before fat. At this point, I want the full benefits of my workouts.

  • Congratulations! That's a great milestone.
  • I get my best burn with EA Sports Active 2 but they got a major downgrade from me for taking down their servers and the internet connectivity.
  • I have a 2 year old & would like to end the year in shape than I ended the last 2 years & use that as a jumping point for better health.
  • You've worn your favorite running shirt so much that it can actually do a morning run on its own.
