I know that it is kind of simplistic but get a copy of the "My Plate" picture and try to apply that when at the buffet. Buffets are tough, even the salad bars just be mindful of what you are doing when faced with the buffet. Oh and preview it too. That way you will know just how to and with what you want to load your plate…

Don't forget to eat some healthy fats. Healthy fats are important to stave off the hunger. So add guac, olive oil etc...
