There was a woman on a show about strange medical mysteries. The doctors could not figure out what was wrong until they asked what she eats. She only ever ate peanut butter sandwiches and black coffee. Turns out that she had scurvy. I may be getting some minor details wrong because I didn't watch the show, my husband told…

The reason her TDEE is lower is because her weight is so low, and because in the initial recovery stages there is a low activity level. This will balance out when she gains weight (and health), and incorporates a healthy level of activity into her life. She is still underweight at this time. And she should be eating to…

My response was initially intended as a cliche joke. But, at the same time, making things fun as a couple is better than a reward system (in my opinion). Whatever ways that works for the two of you (and not only sexual).

Sex games (for mutual fun) This doesn't mean it's a chore, or that you don't already do this. I just think it's fun, so why not incorporate it. Just focusing on sex creatively (not as a reward) can motivate your fitness, happiness, enjoyment, feeling alive. For men and women. You can make fitness activities more fun. This…

You can also go to a physio and get custom fit orthotics for your feet. But, at the very least you need better sneakers.

Obviously there will be a lot of differing opinions. So, try to avoid fads and gimmicks and stick with the basics. And do what you will stick with. Don't overcomplicate.

Yeah, my hair is just wavy. I only related to the sleeping with wet hair situation. None of the rest. And actually my hair only just recently became more wavy, maybe because it's shorter than usual (I usually have it very long).
-
This is the one I relate to. I have wavy hair that mostly behaves, but my hair needs to be completely dry before going to bed. Although, if my hair was longer this may not be such an issue.

For many people 2000 to 2200 is maintenance calories (it is for me, and I am petite). So, it is complete nonsense for a doctor to react that way (among many other reasons for the doctor being wrong).

You can have sexual feelings and flirting because it's a strong part of your personality (and what attracted your partner in the first place), but that's different from actually making the relationship physical. Even if there is flirting it doesn't mean you want it to be physical. Some people are just sexually open with…

I'm friends with many of my husband's former girlfriends, and we even lived with one back when we were dating.

This is your body type. Keep up with the strength training and you will get smaller and fitter, but you will still have your body shape. The thighs hang on.

Yeah, this.

I agree with this.

I didn't read the comments. And I kind of have a hard time believing this is for real. But, anyway. It's completely normal to think about lovers and partners from the past. And he was even honest and told you. And you have only been together for two months. Give it some time. Things are going to go much better if you do…

Yeah, that is very odd. You should not reduce your calories or worry about gaining weight. A lot of doctors are used to dealing with health problems from people being overweight, so they over worry about people gaining weight and developing weight problems.

I lift barefoot.

This is another excellent perspective and point! And it depends on the person. Being bulky is beautiful. But, for some women it is very hard to get to that point. I'm not even sure it's possible for all women.

Yeah, the idea that it would be based on wrist size alone is very silly. It has more to do with rib cage size. And there is definitely variation there. I have a 25 inch rib cage (at the widest point), and know people my height with visible ribs and a 38 inch rib cage. People that fall outside of the average range are going…
-
That's an excellent plan. You won't bulk. Go for it! You will love the results.

I also reccomend strength training. Strong Curves could be good for you. bretcontreras.com

Yeah, this is an old thread. But, you won't accomplish anything if your partner has reduced self-esteem or feels undesired by you.

Yes, it's true. I had a friend that needed a kidney. My kidney is too small. You can't give a small kidney to a bigger person (it won't do the job for them). My internal organs are small because my rib cage is only 25 inches (waist 23 inches), and I am short. So, small space, smaller organs.
