Weight fluctuates. Regardless of what you eat or don't eat. Sometimes you carry more water weight. It just happens.

Maybe give them access to view your food diary? Then they can check it out and see that you are in fact eating and being healthy. Maybe he's trying to use a form of humour to deal with his feelings about the situation? My last boyfriend broke up with me over my ED... So I think you've at least got something you can work with. It's also a positive that he's not trying to change you or "fix" you, like I find so many guys will try to do.

P.s. you have high cheekbones, which sometimes make a face look "chubby". My friend who's like 80 pounds has the same problem. I think we're all just used to airbrushed media images which "pinch" in models already thin faces.

Everyone is their own worst critic. I have the same problems. In my head I know I'm not fat or chubby, but when I look in the mirror or see myself in photos that's all I can think. I think the better question here is why do you care if people think you're chubby? Try to be happy with yourself. Easier said than done…

I was wondering about this also. And why is 1200 the magic number? I'm a pretty petite person (I'm only 5') and I feel like what puts the average person into "starvation mode" probably shouldn't be the same for me since my healthy weight should be less than someone who is taller. Help!
