Seriously. As ridiculous as it might sound it's so true.
-
Yes, completely agree, so nice and creamy with almond milk!

I have a yonanas machine (frozen banana icecream) and I mix it into that for dessert just about every day, it's my absolute favourite thing. Sometimes for an added treat I mix in chocolate chips. Mmm salivating just thinking about it..

Are people still tracking any and all liquids are water? Isn't the purpose of tracking water to make sure you're hydrated enough? Don't most other drinks (coffee, soda, alcohol etc.) do the exact opposite? Or am I just crazy?
-
No, I log everything always. Unless I'm bingeing then I just stop logging for the whole day because it's too embarrassing.
-
Yes! Greek yogurt (0%) with fruit for sure. So much protein, and delicious.
-
Uh, all the pickles I've ever logged have been 3-5 cal/pickle... unless it's genetically modified or something... :|
-
Your metabolism may need a boost? Not sure your eating schedule but eating smaller meals every few hours, drinking green tea, having a source of protein in every meal etc. might help.
-
I only say that because I see so many people reference 1200. I didn't mean it scientifically or anything.
-
Sorry, I guess I should really only talk about myself. 1200 (or less) generally satisfies me, and if I find myself eating more it's usually not due to actual hunger. From browsing the forums though, seems like the body can be sustained on 1200, and there's many emotional eaters that feel the same way. Was not my intention…
-
Sounds de-lish!
-
1200 seems to be the magic number on this site. I eat around that most days and am usually content. When people feel they need to eat more than this they're usually doing so for emotional reasons, not actual hunger.
-
Agreed! Or sometimes I do just a touch of natural organic juice, like 1/4 C mixed with water. Grapefruit is my fave with a salted rim. mmm It's too early in the week for me to be thinking like this..

Unless you've signed up for an advanced hot yoga class I think you will be fine. Yoga is all about relaxing and stretching your body. You don't need to be able to do any of the extreme positions to enjoy it.

Freeze an individual portioned 0% greek yogurt they can have up to 18g of protein. By the time you're ready for a snack it will have thawed but still be cold. Have it with some raw blueberries for sweetness. Nuts are also a good source of protein. I buy 100 cal packs because you can get carried away with nuts so easily.
-
That's really interesting to think about. I've never paid much attention to the sugar in fruits in general because that seems ridiculous unless you're diabetic or something.
-
Do you log from your phone? I LOVE the bar code scan option, basically makes sure you never have to guess on brand or anything. So great. I think smoothies seem like they're high in cal cause they're not as filling as if you were to actually eat the ingredients.
-
My sugars are always over because I eat a lot of fruit too. I know there's a huge controversy over fruit because of it's high sugar content, but I don't care because it's all natural and delicious!
-
If you're putting in the correct amounts of berries and the right brand of yogurt it's going to be the right amount of cal... I have .5 cup greek yogurt every day with .5 cup blueberries and .5 cup raspberries and it's close to 200 cal.

... you can't get any food at starbucks for less than 300 calories. If your goal is to eat better than McDonalds, I'd say you need a new goal. edit: nothing under 300 cal except maybe one of those cake pops, but who wants to eat only one cake pop??
-
I'm a coffee addict, and I never used to pay attention to the calories in beverages, but now that I know some of my Starbucks favourites can run 700 cal, easily, I just make my coffees at home. I'll get a chai soy latte every once and a while if I'm out with people, but I've gotten pretty good at making drinks at home…

"To log or not to log the sex I just had..." I wish I had this problem...

This. Plus stevia for sweetener. Sometimes if I'm feeling crazy I'll have a Krisda vanilla or caramel flavoured stavia packet too.
-
Same. Will never eat canned.

Are you vegetarian or vegan or something? Lean cuts of meat will be your best choice. I eat a lot of fish but no other meat. Also, 0% greek yogurt if you can handle dairy, it has like 18g per serving. I also have IBS but find I can handle moderate amounts of yogurt if i mix it with fruit.
-
I mix it into the frozen banana ice cream that I make with my Yonanas. Perfect summer treat for PB lovers like myself.
-
This. Milk is disgusting. Plus almond milk tastes like dessert.

I want to be far below my "healthy weight range". For my height (5'0) says it should be 97-123. Currently 102 and feel obese. This is what society has done to me..
