I read the book and thought some of the rules made sense. I really have a hard time trying to figure out what you would eat if you are not eating carbs at that point in the day. I mean what does dinner look like? Some of the other rules I have been using. The apples everyday and lots and lots of water!

I did the one week trial period of just putting stuff in. When I started seeing how many calories and fat grams I was eating I understood why I'm overweight! I am loving the weight control Quaker instant oatmeal. They are ready in 2 minutes and taste great. Prefer the Maple and Brown sugar one to the others and not many calories either. Keeps me going till at least 11:30
