I know, but I'm very susceptible to suggestion. I just wanted to hear what others do. I'm going to try the underwater jogging. Any tips?

Could you explain what "box jumps" are? And what do you mean by the crunches--just to the center, and then to the left and right? I can never picture these things from the description---sorry!

Wow--this is a quandary. I think that we have to each come to our weight-loss decisions on our own, and while we can encourage our significant others, we can't compel (or even propel) them toward change. I would suggest talking to her about how good you feel, what you like about being thinner, and leave it at that. Enjoy…

Add barley for the rice and mushrooms to any recipe. Great! (But, as has been said, go light on the cheese!) Red peppers are the best.

Love this thread! Some of mine: A triathlon (although one of the easier ones). Hike into (and out again) of the Grand Canyon. Get certified to SCUBA dive. Ballet class (I was good at this, once!). Re-create Basho's "Narrow Road Through the Back Country" walk in Japan (or at least part of it). Biking Tuscany. Walking tour…
