  • Everyone has to find what works for them. I personally have a "carb addiction". I can't eat just one of any of the high carb/sugary/starchy list of foods without grazing and finally binging. I have to completely abstain from a whole list of foods for now so that I can have some control over my appetites. Low carb…
  • Thanks! I am glad to be back! I am wanting something to snack on so I am whipping up a Muffin in a Mug to tide me over until dinner!
  • If you want to make a protein drink, almond milk is a great base! Nice and creamy!
  • No, you need calorie dense foods, like protein and animal fats! Protein drinks laces with a healthy dollop of EV coconut oil will do the trick!
  • If you do high protein without also eating healthy fats (animal sources not plant sources) you can get bad constipation. If you eat plenty of fats you body will thank you!
  • Talk about hidden carbs, has everyone seen the new IHOP commercial bragging that they add a "splash" of pancake batter to their omelettes???? WTHeck??????

  • The problem with comparing anyone's journey to this show is that they have a full time medical staff to monitor their joint health, their chemistry and their mental health. You might notice that most of the biggest contestants have specially made wraps for their knees and ankles.
  • http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/ I love Linda's low carb recipes! I love that she takes pictures of each so I can see if I hit the mark! They are tasty too!
  • Just reading your letter made me sad. I would say you have classic sleep apnea! I think you need to demand a sleep study test and get treated for that before you do anything else. Also, have you looked to see if your gym offers water aerobics of any sort? I swear I can work for a solid hour doing movements I couldn't do on…
  • Hummmmm, well then I am an anomally. I can eat 1000 cals of protein and fat and lose 2 lbs over night. I can eat 1000 cals of high carbage and gain 2 lbs. IF nothing else, high sugar intake makes me blot up like a balloon.

  • I am starting a low carb lifestyle. My goal is to eat fresh foods. All animal products that are on the no/little processed sides. All veggies that are fresh or frozen (no canned if possible). Limited fruits to low glycemic varieties. Loads of fresh water, cutting out sodas (diets as well as sugary). I am using coconut oil…
