I'm still around....the weather has been so nice and cool in NY that I have been trying to exercise outside (tennis and walk/running). I am not motivated to do Level2...I really don't like it! Maybe I'll try 3 and see...

Hey Chez...yes, I'm fine...just sore. You are getting REALLY great results...congrats on the inches lost! I only weigh myself once a month now because I was getting so discouraged but I take measurements every week on Tuesdays. I think you answered this, but, are you starting over at level 1 after you're done? My plan is…

My husband brought home Taco Bell and I didn't eat it.

i would say Jillian dealt with me today...level2 day3 done and i can't get up.

Bearsmom...I am so glad to hear your surgery went well and you are back to your walking...just please, be careful and listen to your body. When you feel like you need to rest, by all means, REST. You just had surgery so be extra nice to yourself. I had an abdominal hysterectomy 5 months ago (everything gone except cervix)…

Hey Jane, Did you have liver and fava beans with your Chianti???? sorry

I TOTALLY agree Sunshine...I have to drop my weights down for those V flies and I don't get those twisty crunch things either. I think she says it is supposed to work the obliques? I need to look in a mirror or something because I must not be doing them correctly. Today was such a beautiful day in NY so I did my c25k…

I really wanted to find a quarter so I could "phone it in" today...but I got on with it. I don't like level 2. I feel like my plank form is all wrong and I wish Jillian would tell me which area each move was working. She says it for some but not all...Maybe I'm just cranky and tired today...going to take a cold…

supermom, I'm encouraged that you are liking level3...something to look forward to after plank-town. I am also alternating shred day with running/walking day. It is really humid here but I went out today anyway. I had to stop running a few times because my ankles (shins?) were hurting. My MIL is going to need to change her…

I'm still here!! Mother-in-law got out of hospital a couple of days ago so I have officially given her husband back!! He is a real pain in the butt old italian man...but broke my heart over his concern for his wife. She was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Did level 2 day 1 today. Holy Planks Batman!! I felt like the next…

no log, no progress...been at hospital for a week now with sick MIL and very sad FIL. No motivation to workout but have been logging food...I will return!!

Another week gone by... I have thrown my scale in the garbage (metaphorically) so I can't report weight loss BUT I lost 2.5 inches!! Maybe that Jillian really does know what she is talking about...

And I'm pretty sure when you signed up for mfp, you didn't sign up for the responsibility of a stranger and her problems. I know you may feel badly for her, as we all do, but this is not the place to deal with it. I also think it's great that you care about her, but really, its ok...hide her. I just don't get how so many…

Luce, your post was great timing in that I just finished level1 today and watched level2. It looks REALLY hard. I was thinking about staying at level1 until I am able to master all the moves but now I think I will give level2 a try. Thanks!!

level1 day9 done. I took a little two day Jillian break...not sure about going on to level2 or going another 10 days on level1 but at Natalie level (or as close as possible). Chezileigh- hope your shoulder is ok and btw, super-cute baby!! Laura

bump!

thanks supermom

Hi... been at it for 9 days and lost 3.5 inches!!! BUT, gained two pounds. I tell myself that the number on the scale doesn't matter, it's how the clothes fit and how I feel but it is discouraging when I work so hard with what I think are good food choices and then gain two pounds. bummed.

level1 day8 done!! I think I have a tip for those darn side lunges w/ arm lift....I really tried to straighten up (stand tall) in between left and right lunges and it helped. I think I was trying to go left and right from a bad starting position. And I concentrated on sitting back in to the lunge. It helped...not that it…

she's right Charlene, don't be annoyed with yourself...you'll be right back!!! Jowalm...how was level2???? Different muscles??? Harder?
-
I'm not sure if I am bored....I sort of like knowing what is coming up and knowing, if I can just get through this, I can do some punches ( or whatever is easier for you). I finished day 7 level 1 today. Feeling pretty good about it...still sore everyday so I figure it must be working... Jasmin...I took a day off on…

I have two...Haagen Dasz vanilla ice cream over warm brown sugar PopTarts and my mother in laws antipasto...incredible cheeses, huge green olives, proscuitto, fried artichoke hearts, soprasoid.....ahhhhhhhhhh

level1 day 6 finished...did it while son and husband were eating bacon and egg sandwiches from the deli. I switched to 5 pound weights for everything except the side lunges. Those are really hard!!! Also pushups are still painful...
-
Duh...forgot to say, just finished level1 day5. actually do feel a bit more endurance except in the middle section of combination jumping jacks and jump rope. still kicks my butt......
-
good one zana! I think the video is very deceptive...meaning it doesn't really look all that hard but when you do it, its a workout. I can't get over how much I continue to sweat after I am done...very strange. hey supermom...good job with level2!! Is it much harder than level1 or just different? Laura

Chezileigh... 1. Losing 3/4 of a lb is GOOD. Consider that if you had totally gone off track, ate whatever you wanted and didn't workout, you might have gained, say, three pounds.....you are so far ahead of THAT game!! 2. TOM is a factor...any hormonal changes will affect your water retention AND your mood. 3. You were…

I hope so! Thanks!

level1 day4 finished. more ouch. My son was laughing at me all last night because I was moaning a little every time I stood up. Finally bought a tape measurer so have all my numbers...bicep, bust, chest, waist, bellybutton, hips, thigh and calf. Did I miss anything? I definitely agree with those of you who recommended more…

Yeah, I think I need heavier than the three pounders I have for some of the moves (like the chest raises you do while laying on the floor) but will stick with the three for the squats and lunges. Just until I become less than a weakling that is....

and way to suck the motivation out of someone who started the program a few days ago...thanks. btw, i think you are wrong. i have seen too many before and after pics that say otherwise.
