I actually relate to your lack of willpower and at 58, sometimes I feel I am running an up-hill marathon. I have found that being honest with myself and logging in each food eaten has helped me tremendously. My son lost 90 pounds and has transformed his body with exercise. Solid muscle. It is wonderful to see and so I am…

Try weight watchers frozen chicken patties. Sautee onions and/or jalepenos and place on top. I never eat a bun, but these are great without. I season with a little chicken fajita seasoning as I cook. These are quick and delicious. My son introduced me to them. He has lost 96 pounds and is a protein nut. Definitely working.…

What a transformation!!! You look amazing and are an inspiration for me. I am just stuck...any exercise secrets?

I am a Dr. Pepper nut, but since joining MFP, I limit myself to Dr. Pepper 10. I honestly don't like it as much as regular, so I have greatly limited my intake. I used to drink a regular DP every day but am down to one a week with Dr. Pepper 10. It is a good alternative, when you just have to have a soda!!

Congratulations...you must feel really proud. My son just hit his 80 lb mark this weekend. I think you both are amazing!

It takes about 20 pounds before I see the difference...that darn stomach fat!

MFP is not a diet. It is a lifestyle change. But...you have to be willing to want it. My son has transformed his body in the last 10 months and he got me going. He has lost 80 pounds and his confidence level has sky rocketed. Simple...his determination has set him free!!! Now I am on the journey with him. My weight loss is…

Wow. Congratulations. You look amazing!!!

Oh yes mam!!! Planters. Doctors will tell you stretch and wear non-flexible shoes - no sandals. Right. I had it for months, very painful to the point of tears at times. Believe it or not, I took a trip to Universal Studios. Didn't know how I was going to do all the walking. But something happened on the trip. I think I…

You bet cha!!! Way too much sodium and it eats away at your stomach lining. Google it and you'll change to tea and water!!!
-
Bring it to his attention. Sometimes men have to be knocked in the head...it is football season after all.
-
Grab a bottled water...preferably cold. Remind yourself of your goal. If the water thing doesn't work, grab a small banana. They are not my fav, but they are filling!
-
Drink green tea - a natural diuretic and watch your sodium intake. It is in everything!

Actually it was my son who inspired me. I never had weight issues until age 45. Since then, I have tried lots of things and become discouraged and fallen back into my old eating patterns. This summer, after watching my son transform himself with MFP and exercise, I decided to give it a try. His words have been my…

Add as you go throughout the day. You can then make adjustments when necessary and you won't get in the habit of skipping foods you eat. Just my thoughts.
-
Very, very cool. I admire you and your faith!!! Congratulations...I'm sure your sister is pulling for you and so proud.
-
You are already well on your way!!! Congratulations...you can do this for sure!

We are our own worst critics and so we probably see ourselves differently than those around us. I tend to be hard on myself, but three years ago, when I lost 22 pounds, people finally noticed. I think because my weight loss is slow and gradual on MFP that people who see me regularly just don't see the loss. They will…

Sounds like you have made up your mind. Just remember your incident in K-mart and don't let this new found freedom get you back there.
