  • I won't recommend you .22 LR as for self-protection. If you want a well self-protection gun I would say 9MM caliber is good place to start. You could make it little lighter by reducing the gun powder in the bullets, only if you or your husband is a reloader. There is lots of the trade off with the bullet versus the target.…
  • You could get way overwhelmed with the choices to pick a gun for yourself. You'll need to ask yourself those questions. Could you picture yourself to kill someone when you are under an immediately danger? If yes then you are on the right track. If not, calling 911 is your friend for now. The size of gun and weight. You…
  • I highly recommend you to get Glock 26 or 19. You could beat Glock up all you want and it will go bang at every time when you pull the trigger (unless the ammo is bad). I love Glock 30 and it is .45 ACP, I like bigger hole so a person could bleed to death faster than 9mm. It has a kick in .45, but 9MM is very low in the…
  • Seriously, google "Bulletproof Coffee".
  • Coffee?
  • It's overrated IMO. I just buy organic italian roasted coffee beans from Amazon and it does the job (5lbs for $40ish). Folgers might taste bad compared to the coffee beans that I have. It depends on how much you would want to spend on the coffee beans.
  • You might need to buy a chalk and work out with the deadlifts. You might want to learn how to use the thumb lock grip when you are lifting with the barbell bar. The deadlifts are the best way to strengthen your grips. Don't use straps if you want to strength your grips.
  • Bulletproof coffee is your med for this issue.
  • Agree with the shoulder part. Working out with your shoulder in a right way will strength your shoulders as it did to mine.
  • Well. If you want a quick fix. Throw out all the sugar foods, drink, and bread into trash. I don't care if you spent a lot but it's better to save yourself than to go over the remorse for not throwing those foods out. Trust me on that and it's might teach you and your husband to stop tempting yourselves with those sugar…
  • Bulletproof is your med while you are transforming into Paleo. Try start with small cuz it will keep you up all day running, you could do two WODs from it. :) I am still having the coffee buzz from this morning, lol!
  • FYI, the oly shoes could create more problems than necessary. Oly shoes lifts your heel to give your ankle a better moblity. However, for some people it causes them to lose the balance in the lifting. Therefore, I would recommend you to try it out in the lifting before you buy one. For me NB 608 is perfect for oly lifting.
  • Ummm, you are pretty much on the right track. Bummer that I couldn't help you as you have expected from us.
  • Bacons might be your new best friend as it have served me very well. You might want to save those bacon greases when you don't need it at that time for later use. You could use the bacon grease to cook anything and it is very helpful when you are trying to cook egg without sticking it to the pan.
  • I would agree with this if he said, "Many men today are wusses and women are taking over the world."
  • I don't change shoes during the WOD. I just had to weight on how much the WOD would do the running versus lifting. If its more of running then you know. Little more support shoes are always best. You also would want to have a running shoes to keep you going in a long distance running. It is like several guns for different…
  • Laughs... Burpees!? Did someone said burpee!? Burpeees!!!!!
  • I'm going ask you three silly questions but it could be the root of your problem. Do you drink lots of water daily? Do you sleep good for at least 6 hours daily? Do you exercise intense for more than a total of 30 minutes a day? I think you are on right track with the nutrient plan. It must be something other than nutrient…
  • When I move into Primal, I enjoy my life more than I was in Paleo. I could drink merlot wine, eat Bree cheese, and loose up once while on. I still lose weight by the way.
  • Burpees!!!! Burpees!!! Zombies hate Burpees and therefore burpees could save your life!!! Seriously, you might want to learn how to fall in love with Burpees. I do 50 Burpees with high jumps before I do the WODs. Burpee, I l love you!!!
  • IMO, those nano and crossfit shoes are overrated and provides no benefit to my feet. New Balance 608 provides better than those shoes and it's far cheaper in a better quality. It serves me well all around in crossfit except with runnings. I use addias running shoes for the runnings. IMO, you will be better served if you…
  • Welcome aboard!
  • I eat an average of 3,500 mg of sodium daily. I still lose my weight and getting into shape. I need high sodium for the oly lifting or my muscles would go cramp and sore. Last week, I over ran the calories limit because I was eating lots of almond nuts. It just went out of my body and I could see them (sorry for TMI). I…
  • Two months into CrossFit: Back Squat: 240 (my hip went lower than my knee caps) Press: 140 Deadlift: 325 Total: 705 M/26/6ft/203 lbs.
  • I use bacon grease for most of the time. Many pigs out there are afraid of me. :) I cannot resist the bacons. I once cooked bacons and then cover it with dark chocolates. It was totally unbelievable! Coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, and MCT oil is awesome for me.
  • You could find Kerrygold unsalted butter in safeway, or some big food store in your area. I don't think a small food store could have those because it's expensive.
  • Could you do all the pistols? That's crazy!
  • Hooray!!! Go Paleo/Primal!!
  • Red Dawn and Star Wars.
  • On the record, you cannot find a bacon that is without nitrate. If you could find bacons without nitrates then you must got the bacons right out from a pig on the same day or three. If it is more than 3 days then you need to put sodium on it to preserve it. The sodium has some of natural nitrates in it. That is why you…
