You know you can't force him, and it's as simple as that - my other half is a couple of lbs from obese, literally double my weight and hates himself for it (which makes me sad because he is wonderful and it doesn't bother me). Does he do anything to change? No, and I can only be responsible for myself I've learned. Good…

normally I go for a walk to clear my head as I only really go over when I'm sad and have comfort eaten, or when I'm drunk :drinker: but most of the time I go by the average of the week as opposed to one single day.

In general I dislike people pointing out my weightloss.. it's inevitable with my parents who I see once every three months, but my boyfriend is constantly commenting on it, saying how tiny I look (I'm 5'3 130lbs, was 143 before) and how I need to eat more "or I'll get grumpy" (??? it's as if we don't regularly eat pizza…

Are men really that insecure that they need "for men" tacked onto a couple of thousand year old traditional exercise routine in order to check it out? My ex did yoga as part of physio and he said it helped him a lot, men are less flexible than woman naturally but I don't see why that should deter you

Soup, wrap, sandwich, houmous and things to dip into it e.g. breadsticks or carrots

You don't need to but many people do, aim for half if you feel uncomfortable about eating them all but find your calories too restrictive
-
Stop getting takeaways and drinking if you lose control. 800 is not enough you should be aiming for at least 1200 net, no wonder you're finding it difficult

As the previous poster said, start on two knees doing them, then move up to one knee one straight leg, then normal push ups. 100pushupsaday is a great programme for learning to do push ups - I could only do a few when I started, now averaging 25 three weeks on.

I gain some water weight which drops in the first couple of days, which normally results in a permanent lower body weight, but I don't get any cravings or like that.
-
You've been on it a week, you shouldn't expect instant results

I'm 5'3 and looking to get to 115

Relax, its just your body adjusting to the new calorie amount. Give it a week or two and see if its balanced out

Yes, diet is just calories in vs calories out, aim for whatever mfp tells you plus your exercise calories, never dropping below 1200 net.

As a marine biologist and scuba diver I feel I fit into this category lol

When I'm sleepy I will eat everything in sight. Also bread, some days I will eat nothing but sandwiches even though I know its terrible for me to not eat anything else
-
Normally no, but if I know I'm going out for a meal or something I will exercise to keep within my limits
-
Before, normally in the mornigng but I allow myself a few hundred calories to play around with during the day
-
My aim for the week has been to move for at least an hour every day, so far so good!
-
I have about 15 to lose so I'm taking it slow

You have to be realistic about these things.. you don't like yoir body and you want to change it to one you do like, but first you have to accept your current body otherwise youll keep falling into the trap of comfort eating. Is there a sport of exercise that you enjoy? Doing active things I find boosts my self esteem, and…
