I'm 5'3, started at 147lbs, created my MFP account at 141lbs, currently 124lbs.. I kept at it, walking as much as possible, cutting out as many liquid calories as possible (I used to drink about 3 litres of Coke a day!). Calorie counting for me personally has been quite easy, as long as I stick within my limit and walk at…

you need physio for housemaid's knee, if it's chronic there are surgeries for it

I tried kiwi for the first time ever and I loved it! also bought some strawberries, which I've tried before and didn't like, but now it turns out I do like them! yay for changing tastebuds/trying new healthy things :drinker:
-
I have anemia so I am constantly cold anyway, but my feet get awful at times, lots of wooly socks help!
-
this, also you could try not weighing around that time of the month.
-
I think I will always roughly estimate how much I am eating, not sure if I'll always strictly track - but I will buy some tight fitting clothes when I reach my target weight, and if they stop fitting as well I will start tracking again
-
for Lent I will be giving up bread, as it seems to give me horrific mood swings, and by eliminating it for a set amount of time I can test my theory!

a family I know went on SlimFast.. yes they lost a lot of weight and fast, but the women's hair fell out, they were tired all the time, they looked gaunt as they lost their muscle mass, and they gained it all back on (the biggest lost was >50lbs) in less than a year. not to mention it was expensive, and the mother ended up…

absolutely this, by the sounds of it you havent stalled you're just eating too much because you're not weighing/logging accurately enough, my food scale is my baby because i have no idea about portion sizes
-
my first day also, I am currently at: 57.5kg/126.7lbs which is the lowest I've ever weighed in at, ever :glasses:
-
I did some data analysis, posted a postcard and in a bit I'm going to a chinese place with my housemates :drinker:

Name: Natalie Age: 21 Height: 5'3.5 Your current weight: 127lbs Your goal weight: 115lbs Reasons why you want to lose weight I want to have thinner thighs, and I love the changes I've seen in my body, but mostly I need to focus on eating better things - I'm considering rebecoming a vegetarian, however I want to this time…
-
I'm 5'3.5 and only want to lose 12lbs, are you going to hate me forever if I join? :frown: :brokenheart: I just need some support, majorly down in the dumps today
-
5'3, at 127, wanting to get to 115 :)

I was at a conference today and there was a platter of free biscuits, in particular ginger nuts and fruit shortcakes, my favourites. I had one of each, wrote down that I had them to log later, and moved on with my day.

I've been doing this for 3 weeks and lost a couple of lbs which is amazing for my healthy weight! I have a cup of tea for breakfast, normally an apple or banana for lunch or a small sandwich, and soup or a small bowl of pasta for dinner. I love the freedom of not having to worry about what to eat for the rest of the day…

97lbs is underweight for our height
-
I did but it must have been all water weight since I'm back to my original weight from the 13th!
-
congrats on reaching your goal weight! swimming seems like the thing you need since you cannot lift weights, and a small deficit to get back to your goal
-
water weight. try having a larger deficit during the week so you can allow yourself a reasonable amount more at the weekend to prevent what I assume is a binge weekend
-
102lbs at 5'2 is quite low
-
this, where do you get off being so judgmental?
-
I'm at a hotel for a weekend break and there's a *~fancy dinner~* that I'll be eating at least some of, and then lots of exercise later in the evening to make up for it :blushing:
-
I'd like to point out that losing weight didn't get rid of your PCOS, it just reduced your symptoms.. good luck with whatever you decide to do :flowerforyou:
-
I am a former belly dancer, a hooper and a pole dancer.. conventional cardio bores me! (apart from swimming, but it's too cold for that currently  ) I also SCUBA dive sometimes.
-
yes, don't weigh yourself until it's over
-
Get a tattoo, just a small one, to remind me of how much I can do when I try
-
Yup, I binged yesterday and ended up 488 over maintenance, without tracking I'd probably have ordered a pizza and ended up thousands over maintenance - accountability is important
