18 days is not a long time. Try upping your water intake, keep doing what you're doing and hitting your calories, eat more protein/less carbs and sodium and see if it has any effect.

Hello! I'm also trying this out  the group for it is here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/7953-5-2-fasting

hello, I'm also from the UK and looking to lose as much weight as possible when I go home for Christmas to show myself off to my family! I "only" have 1.5 stone to lose, and it's purely for aesthetic reasons as I'm already in the healthy weight range, but I'm definitely up for motivating everyone!

you can either edit it or for example, if its 100g but you ate 50g, just put .5 of a serving
-
the fact that you feel worried and are thinking about losing your desire to continue is exactly why your trainer tells you not to do it..

I'm 5'3, 63kg currently, and I'm doing 5:2; on non-fasting days I'll average around 1400, my BMR is 1456 so my daily output is about 1690. Then I add in exercise on top of that, 250 five days a week.

have some hot chocolate. you may be deficient in magnesium, so nuts/fruit/seeds may help.
-
allow yourself your treats, just apply portion control - if you find you have the calories for it, have that chocolate bar, or that steak, or whatever you're craving.

The next 2 weeks? I'm not going to buy anything I don't absolutely need to eat e.g. my normal puddings, take aways with friends.. I'm also going to invest in a big bag of rice to prevent me from running out of something to eat and panic buying. I'm trying to save recipes I'd like to try from this site, as I read somewhere…

I have tiny delicate wrists and collarbones, a nice waist and hip proportion; I just want less of them

Northanger Abbey, making my way through the classics!

cauliflower, salmon

Sounds like it's time for you to learn portion control! You can still have his yummy foods (and not have to cook for yourself:bigsmile: ) just calculate how many calories there are in each meal using the MFP calculator and adjust your portions accordingly
-
I log everything but my drink squash, because it's something stupid like 3calories per litre.

Carb monster AND PROUD!! one of my friends tried to make me do the Atkins diet with her, I lasted about half a day before having a sandwich. My main carb is definitely bread; good old, wholemeal granary bread, toasted with butter and soup is my favourite thing ever ever. I'm also addicted to rice - I love fried…

Most likely! I always drink a cup of water before meals/when I think I'm hungry and leave it fifteen minutes and re-evaluate how I'm feeling, the majority of the time I was just hungry.

Shaming people for being fat just makes them more fat, it's been proven (http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2013/07/26/205766456/hating-on-fat-people-just-makes-them-fatter) and I think acceptance of yourself is important for a healthy balanced mind; however if it is negatively affecting your health or your ability to…

Data! I love data, this is the sort of weight loss I understand  thanks for sharing!

Jasmine green tea is my all time favourite, although recently I tried a mango and passionfruit that was fabulous

I know for most people that eating is an emotional thing; personally I always overeat when I'm tired, which is great because I'm always fricking tired   but accountability and recognising those emotional triggers is a big part at overcoming binge eating! This is a great idea!

Weigh something that you already know the weight of e.g a bag of sugar
-
Ohhh sounds good to me, will definitely give this a go soon
-
Don't dwell on it! Everyone slips up sometimes, just think of how far you have come - 22 lbs in amazing. Keep track of what you've eaten as a reminder, and remember it takes 3500 calories to gain 1lb. Eat at maintenance for a while, then slowly re-add in your exercise.

You are probably severely lacking in iron and protein, having been a vegetarian and having the same problem. Eat more green vegetables e.g. spinach, consider taking in more protein through lentils, beans, tofu.
-
You look great in the second picture! As Care76 suggested, maybe try lifting to get more toned and stronger?
-
You can do it  calorie counting works as weight loss relies on a deficit; I never could get my head around WeightWatchers or any of the other main diet strategies!
-
LOL just might have to log it and live on celery for the rest of the month
-
Two of my best friends recently got married having first met at a weightwatchers meeting, which I think is super sweet

Well done, you can really tell a difference already!
