When you use "first" that implies you will have a second point... And I have just recently started being a little more flexible with going over/under on my calories, and found that I lost 1.4lbs after going ~700 cal over my goal for the week... go figure. I assume that it is pretty much what you're describing here, though,…

THIS. I can completely relate, especially about the size 26 thing...

Tritto.

Exactly this HAHAHAHAHA Being willfully obtuse probably adds a few pounds between your ears, too...

Wheat isn't a food group...

HHAHAHA I love Stewart! It's easier to wear slippers than to carpet the world... =]]

Remember to take deep breaths during the day, as deep breathing calms you, lowering stress levels (and subsequently your cortisol levels). Hang in there! =]

Best post since I've been here, hands down. Also, your writing style is awesome!

Found out about geocaching last year... but have only been on a few hunts so far. SOOO much fun, though! Feel free to add me =]

Probably Candida overgrowth from heat of being enclosed in the bra all day. I highly recommend tea tree oil topically, as that helped me get rid of my cutaneous (on the skin) candida infection. I also started taking oregano oil (ingested) twice daily, or you could do a teaspoon of turmeric twice daily, to help fight the…

I weigh every Wednesday morning, when I first wake up (usually I'll weigh then go to the bathroom and weigh again just for the comparison). And I measure every other Wednesday after I've weighed.

Thanks for the headsup... I have some of the TJ's valencia PB, and now I've tossed it lol =]]

I try my best not to judge people one way or another... can't say that being overweight all of my life (so far) really made me feel that way, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was partly why I think it's so important not to judge others based solely on looks.

Nope, not rude at all. God forbid you want to enjoy someone's company... honestly, that isn't a big deal. I've known people who were on strict diets who BRING their own food to a restaurant just so they can enjoy the social aspect while still staying true to their needs. I see this situation as basically the same in…

Seconded. Also, when I make GF pizza with flax meal, or my GF spicy buffalo macaroni (feel free to message me for recipe!).

Potassium is directly related to the firing of neurons... so while it isn't a "brain building chemical" it is indeed crucial to brain function. When a neuron fires that is the work of the sodium-potassium pump, which is why we need to have them in balance, too much/too little of either causes our brain to work less…

5'3" SW: 250lbs ---> Size: 22/24 CW: 230lbs ---> Size: 20/22 I haven't been in anything below a size 18 since before I graduate high school, so I have no clue how much I weighed when I did have lower sizes. I'm guessing when I was in an 18 I was between 180-200lbs.

Trader Joe's actually carries sugar-free (it has sugar alcohols) milk chocolate and dark chocolate with/without almonds. I use this as my go-to when I'm dying for something sweet. I tend to crave savory more, though, so I tend to not have to worry about this too much. I also really like Stevia, and will add that to my…

Sure do... it's all about the fold and tuck!

I second this about the quinoa pasta! And like many others have mentioned, I, too, have succeeded at making rice mush instead of rice noodles... corn is definitely easier, and I prefer the texture over the rice noodles.

^^^ this. I'd be fine with her and Shane leaving together — you don't have to die, but you can't stay with us...

As close to 1600 as possible. I'm 5'3", 28 and currently 231 lbs. I put sedentary for activity, log my exercise, and eat back all my calories. lol good point

I have the same goal as you, and for me, I've decided to eat the amount that I will need to eat to maintain my goal weight. Granted, this will mean weight loss near the end will slow down considerably, but I'm looking to get into a routine and change my lifestyle, so it doesn't really bother me to lose it slow. Pairing the…

Pretty sure it's important, but maybe not. Nobody has mentioned that your feet weren't straight. As I recall, and old aerobics instructor always made a point of saying to keep our feet pointing straight ahead. Not sure if that is actually all that important, but thought I'd add my 2¢. =]

Grab some of that grass-fed bison, too! It's delicious (albeit a bit expensive), and good for a nice change from beef.

Onions (green and red) Red/Yellow bell peppers Lettuce (either romaine, or a spring mix that has spinach) edemame (I'd get the pre-shelled, frozen kind, super easy to prepare and you can add it to pretty much any meal) green beans (fresh or frozen, not canned) hummus (I recommend Trader Joe's original if you can get it)…

I count water, sparkling water and any green tea I drink (I cold brew it myself, so it's basically water anyway). I wouldn't count soda because of the sodium. BAHAHAHAHAHAA

right hurr... I'm a geek and a nerd, AND I love playing sports. In fact, one of my main goals is to be able to play roller hockey again!
