oh god, THIS. And also, I'm sick of seeing people mix up regimen (a strict routine) and regiment (a group of people, usually military), which seems to happen a LOT on health boards.

Definitely the homonyms like to/too/two and their/there. I think my biggest one is then/than, though. And also, I really hate when people say they "could care less" (that implies they DO care) when they mean "couldn't care less" — but that might technically be syntax more than grammar...

I wasn't ever a Coke Zero drinker, but I definitely was addicted to Diet Coke. I'd have anywhere from 2-7 cans a day, definitely on the lower end of that when I started to phase it out, though. I've been pretty much Diet Coke (well, diet soda of any kind) free for about 3 months or so. The first month was awful. If I heard…

lol that's good to know! From my recollection, the story ended quite a bit more open-ended, didn't it? I enjoyed the ending of the movie because it added to the horror of the whole thing, and even though it wasn't quite what happened, it gave the story some closure. It wasn't the best ending, but definitely on par with how…

OMG NOOOOOOOOOO, The Dark Tower is soooo good. I hate fantasy-type books, but the characters are just so loveable! I'm actually re-reading the series now lol Which ones have you tried to read? I've come across a few of his I also couldn't get into: Bag of Bones, Firestarter and Christine are the first that pop into my…

I am reasonably well-read, and I'm probably closer to a horror filmophile, but I do enjoy other types of movies as well. I think that screen adaptation (and how "good" the movie seems) can be fun, but generally tends to leave out or change/add things — things that devoted readers think are important, or should (or…

Not offended either. For me, my height (5'3") says a healthy BMI would mean I'd weight around 120, but I think that's ridiculously small. I am fairly athletic (or I used to be and I'm trying to get back to that), and I can't imagine weighing so little since I expect to have a decent amount of muscle. I've been overweight…

THIS... and I also second what yoovie said. Make your health and well-being a priority and you will find time becomes more available, and eating well is easier that you ever thought it could be!

BAHAHAHA I love Office Space! And I agree with Qarol regarding party polarization... but I'd like it to be broader, in that I tell people they need to, at the very least, become tolerant of all those who are different from them (as long as this "difference" isn't hurting other people).

Don't get sucked into the hype of Apple... I have the GSII (also on Sprint) and I love it, so I imagine the GSIII is even better. Samsung is reliable and isn't slave to the Apple kingdom. Also, the microSD slot is great for added storage space (especially for music) that can be exchanged out easily. Also, you don't have to…

water and a tablespoon of peanut butter, that'll quell the hunger and make it easy to sleep.

Think Thin protein bars: no sugar (has sugar alcohols), gluten-free, 20g protein — you can get them at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. Also like others have said: quinoa, eggs, nuts

FYI, I was looking for a gf panko substitute... apparently Kinnikinnick has a gf Panko-style bread crumb product, and I've read good things about it. I've been making gf chicken nuggets with quinoa flour, but they don't have quite the texture I want, so I'm hoping these crumbs are the solution! I'll try to remember to…

I've been having scrambled egg whites (10 tbsp) with avocado, red bell pepper, green & red onion, spinach, and a pinch of shredded parmesan, and lately adding 2 slices of peppered turkey bacon as well. It's protein-packed, pretty low in fat and carbs, and has a decent amount of fiber... AND it's delicious!

I've only been officially gf for a week (but have been semi-gf for about 3 months) and I can definitely relate to the OP — I want some cheesy, greasy restaurant-made pizza! The gf mix is good, but it's definitely not the same. I also crave garlic bread... and thinking I could remedy this with some of Julian Bakery Carb…

these are great, and just want to point out the one about the scale is IMPORTANT. Also, keep in mind that if exercise is increased, it's likely muscle will increase, which will also mess with your weight but isn't actually a bad thing. =]

It's great for you, and definitely worth drinking! It is packed with antioxidants, and if you brew it yourself then you can make it sugar free, which is definitely the healthiest way to drink it. My nutritionist has been stressing how important it is to have tea daily, so I think it's a smart idea. I also used green tea as…

Wow... thanks for the info, OP! I didn't know that, and baby carrots tend to be one of my favorite snacks. I haven't been eating them lately because of their sugar content, though, so I'm glad I made a good choice when I stopped!

My diary is open, but I'm just starting out with Low Carb (shooting for <100 net/day)... always down for a new friend though =]

tricep extension (for under your arm, aka bingo wings) bicep curl (for top of arm) from what I've experienced/read you want to do high weight and low reps of these exercises, and they will help you build muscle (which helps burn fat) and tone up your arms as well. good luck!

Been trying to keep it low, but honestly it's still been as high as 160g (sometimes higher =\) over the past month that I've been on MFP. I found some awesome bread that only has 1 net carb per slice, and I'm switching up my diet a bit as well, so hopefully I'll be keeping my carbs under 80g/day as soon as today.

Too lazy to see if this was mentioned, but Julian's Smart Carb #1 bread (1 net carb, 1g fat, 12g protein, 12g fiber) — amazing and it tastes good! http://www.julianbakery.com/bread-product/smart-carb-1/ Also, cold brewed green tea with stevia, and Simply Lite Low-Carb dark chocolate with almonds (from Trader Joe's).

I snag some low-carb Simply Light 45% Dark Chocolate with almonds from Trader Joe's. It is delicious, satisfying, and filling! Also pretty affordable, so hopefully you have a TJ's near you so you can try it out. The great thing is that this is a no sugar (it has sugar alcohols, though) option!

B's Buffalo Roni Serves: 7 | Cals: 541 | Fat: 14g | Carbs: 59g | Protein: 38g | Sugar: 19g | Sodium: 561 Ingredients 1lb ground buffalo (bison) meat (I like to season it with oregano separate from the sauce) 9 ounces Quinoa elbow pasta (personally I like Ancient Harvest) 2 1/2–3 12oz cans evaporated milk 1 tbsp cornstarch…

ThinkThin High Protein Bars are great, there are both sugar-free (which are the high protein) and low-sugar (not quite as much protein) options. I personally prefer the sugar-free chunky peanut butter kind.
