  • I've been looking into purchasing a tracker and the Basis Peak is #1 on my list; price and lack of compatibility with third parties are what's keeping me from outright buying it (but #2 is UP3 and I don't want to wait until April for it). So, I'm curious how the Peak is holding up after almost two months. Are you still in…
  • I've been following it for a while now and purchased a week's supply last spring (STILL WAITING FOR IT TO SHIP, THOUGH >_<) It's nutritionally sound as far as meal-replacements go, and the website offers a forum for users to submit their own recipes for both Soylent and Soylent-like products (with cost breakdowns and…
  • I'm in the same boat. Was pretty constant on MFP for the better part of a year, lost 30+ lbs, started running, ran my first 5K, and now here I am, 30+ lbs heavier and hoping to try again. Best of luck to you on this new start!!
  • I'm actually in a similar boat. Live with my boyfriend, his mom and her boyfriend, and a friend of the bf's. And I actually managed to lose 30+lbs while living here. And then put it all back on after getting my wisdom teeth out, starting birth control, and the bf got immersed in school and what little support I had was…
  • @Qski: I've found that repeating missions from time to time allows me to move onto the next without hurting myself. I always seem to injure myself if I really push through just to get to the next mission. That's how I ended up running my first 5k with gnarly shin splints. It is not recommended.
  • If it makes you feel any better, you're not alone; I had pushed myself to week 6, then stopped to get my wisdom teeth out. Restarted after a number of weeks with week 3 and made it to week 7 before stopping again for work obligations and stress and whatnot. Just restarted with week 2 after over a month lapse. Hoping to…
  • Sometimes it takes a while to find that "sweet spot" in terms of calorie deficiencies. I fluxuated from 1300-1700 before I found where I was comfortable (and not hungry). Try upping your calories slightly for 1-2 weeks to see where that puts you. If it doesn't work there, try lowering them slowly over the course of a…
  • Probably someone who wears Ed Hardy.
  • Mudrun? That sounds like an absolutely ridiculous amount of fun. Let me know how it goes?
  • Those are my favorite NSV's, though I find them the most difficult to celebrate. Congrats and whatever you're doing: keep it up!
  • 25 here. Looking for as much support and encouragement as I can get while supplying as much as I can to others. Also looking for folks in the LA/Santa Barbara area who might want to do a 5k with me in August. :)
  • I used to try to walk that early in the morning, but my work schedule has shifted so I work at night and wouldn't get much sleep if I got up so early. Lol. Have you done a 5k before? Have you done a Run or Dye before? I haven't been able to run even a whole mile yet, but I can feel myself getting stronger and my recovery…
