I actually just pictured what I wanted to look like and started losing. WE had a 12 week contest at my gym that really pushed me.

I do not use MFP to track my exercise at all, I have a diet guy and use it to only train macros. I am excited to see where this goes, weight training changed my life and I hate missing days.

I started off w/ 5/3/1 as a total beginner. I remember benching 95lbs and being excited when I hit 135. I think you could modify it for a nice beginner split, his newest book has a lot more options in it then the first 2 editions.

I use the OHS to warmup for my snatch. It is way under my deadlift and back squat but I think that is fairly normal as it is a different type of lift. I would honestly look at 5/3/1 by Jim Wendler, you can get it for 9.99 on Amazon and it was the best plan for me when I first started. It is simple to follow and produces amazing results. You can message me if you want/need help as well.

Thanks a lot, 70lbs was hard to do but I just put everything I had in it. What is amazing is my ability to perform in an athletic setting. I may start up a training diary for everyone to see. It is such an amazing feeling.

Right now I can do about 4 or 5 strict, I do work a lot on strict pull ups as it only helps with kipping ones. I know there is a lot of hate w/ kipping but when you are doing these workouts for time it just saves energy. Pull ups are still new to me as I couldn't do very many at 295lbs lol.
