Lost 2.6 pounds for the 3rd weigh in, 9.7 pounds to go for my challenge goal weight. I'm on track to reach my goal.

I log everything. It keeps me accountable to myself first and then to whomever chooses to view my diary.

I agree with the other posters. I drench mine in water before I use it and rinse it and hang it to dry between uses.

Thanks to you all for your comments. It helps to know what others are doing that's working for them. I wasn't much of a pre-planner but I'm getting better at it. I'm a 5'7" pear and due to regular Jazzercise classes and consistently staying under my daily calorie goal, I have lost 2 inches off my hips in the past month. I weigh myself every other Saturday morning after my 8:00 a.m. Jazzercise class. I usually drink a 16.9 oz. bottle of water during my class and sweat like crazy. Don't know if I weigh more or less but I have been doing it this way since the beginning so it's accurate for my records since it's a consistent routine for me.

My goal is to start walking this month. I Jazzercise several times a week and want to do something more to add to my exercise calories. Also, I finally ordered my HRM so I'll be more accurate with my calculations.
