Calories at not the end all to losing weight. Are you sleeping good? Are you stressed out? Both of these cause the body to hold onto to weight? Also are you spreading your calories out across the entire day or 2 big meals? I posted this about a month ago.... You could that. But all the reading I have done has said to space…

Your body is yelling at you "WAIT, THIS IS WHAT I AM NOT USE TO DOING! STOP MOVING" But once you get past the first week or so of really dedicated working out it gets better and you start to feel better and on and on. Tough part is pushing a disabled car out of the road, once you get it on the down hill it's easy to move…

And make a bigger mess. I usually do 'stachos then my co worker brought in sunflower seeds. I hate her! There goes the sodium!

Thats what you think!!!!! I live in Chicago and don't think I have a Chicago accent then I went to Disneyworld the last two years with the kids and multiple times people said "you're from Chicago, I can hear your accent" WHAT, we don't sound like that, well at least da bears are still in the playoffs.

Keep it ice cold and after a while you will prefer water to other things. Once your body gets use to it again. It happened to me, I was a pop and milk drinker all day every day. Then I started to drink water and prefer it over anything else now.

You are trying to get healthy, but state you want to do it incorrectly just a few years ago you lost 50 and gain 40 back(from your profile). Thats called yo-yo dieting, more unhealthy then just carrying the extra pounds. You are causing your body more stress, it is not sure whats going on. Take the time and do it correctly…

Ice chips!!!! You confuse your mind to thinking you are eating, and getting water at the same time. Trust me, it works.

Yasmin, Yes age is a factor. Our metabolism slows down when we age.

20 a month could be done. Very hard and most doctors will tell you it is not recommended. The problem is if you would do that then most likely you would put most if not all back once you got off this system. 2 lbs a week is the highest you should lose. Remember its a marathon not a sprint

I have 4 kids and I'm normally a very energetic person but for some reason I am just exhausted all the time lately. Answer your own question. 4 kids and one of them a 1 month old is very challenging to getting rest. If you live near family see if someone can stop by every couple of days to "free you " to relax your mind…

Good luck ashley. 100 lbs in that time is alot. I would aim for closer to 60 lbs. Remember you're future husband loved you at a heavier weight. He will be happy with just 60. You can promise him a renew of vows when you reach 100 lbs

Enjoy the sites of London by bike if you can. You will have to smooze with the other conventioneers so invite some to walk about the River Thames and do your work talking during that time instead in a stuffy convention center. Bet more will be on board then you think. Who wants to sit in a hotel convention hall or in a pub…

Eating health is a major problem for your age group. You were raised with 10 channels on tv specifically for you, multiple gaming systems, pop machines in schools and happy meals. We(the older generation) really screwed things up for you guys. Learn to eat healthy options and everything will be fine. PS at 16 none of us…

Welcome, there will be bumps in the road but dont let them get to you, just go over them and stay on the road

It's a marathon not a sprint. As much as you want to do it all now you have to relearn to be healthy again.

Have you looked into amputation? I mean a legs got to be about 40-50 lbs!!! In reality there is no serious healthy way to lose that type of weight in that time frame, period. Even if you were trying for July. Maybe walking to the next job interview might be better because this job is not the one for you.

Good luck. Remember we are all here to help.

See mom, jumping on my bed was for my own good!!!

Are you running in quality shoes then? Is it lack of breathe, if so then start even lower amount of time. If all you can do is 10 seconds, then do that till you are ready to up it to 20 seconds, then do that till you can up it to 30 seconds. You might be bothered by seeing others be able to run longer, but don't everyone…

Don't diet then!!! Diets don't work change of lifestyle does. Diets only work when you are doing them and then you fall off the horse and go back to your previous errors. Example if you are a pop/soda drinker who drinks 3 cans a day; lower that down to 1 can a day and the other two can be cups of water. It doesnt seem much…

Everyone should be stretching pre and post workout as well. I've already noticed the resolutions clubbers at my fitness center already dropping like flies because they don't know the importance of pre and post stretching. I wish them well on their goals but they need to see all of the gym rats that stretch and see how we…

When starting a running program from a non running lifestyle-- start slow. If all you can do is 30 second intervals then do those for 30 run followed by 1:30 walk for 5 intervals(10 minutes) if you have to. Everyone has to start somewhere. You don't want to be the person at the gym who is so worried about the person next…

Thanks Lya, I workout on weight machines not free weights so I don't feel I have a chance of hyper-exing. I usually try to put the lifted weights 1/10 of a inch to a 1/4 of an inch off of the stack.
-
thanks, thats what I think too, but then I think " Am I getting the full motion of the exercise if I don't touch the stack?" So I then start going into circles.
-
I commend you for your schedule. I try to hit the gym 6 times a week and I know that on some days my body fights back and I have to do a 1/2 workout. I know most things I've read have stated you need to have days off or light days to let your body repair and strengthen from your previous workouts. I would talk to a trainer…

Disregard, I see that you have it labeled Name Email and website. I was putting first name, last name and email. My bad.

Tried to leave a comment. Received an error. Told me to enter valid email address. My email address is 10 years old and has been valid the whole time.

I divide (or the plan always is) to divide my calories evenly between all 6 of my meals.

You can fluctuate about 5 pounds in a day. If you weight yourself at a different time then normal that can happen. I usually weight myself after my workout in the evenings and I am normally heavier then when I weight myself in the morning. Plus I have just heard about mood effecting your weight as well(I haven't done any…

I don't know much about BMI to say if 22 is good/bad. But as Lyadeia went towards(sorta), it could be that your thighs are big because you have put muscle there. Changing your flab(if you had any!) to muscle can change your numbers... good and bad. Looking at the photo you have up, I wouldn't say you have large thighs. You…
