I was induced because at my due date I had zero signs that labor was coming. From the time I was induced (2 days after due date), it was 24 hours exactly when my daughter was born. She was over 8 1/2lbs so I was a bit thankful we didn't wait too much longer. I thought it was easy and obviously everyone has a different…

One more thing.... my doctor said 1600 calories a day (what i'm on), was not enough. He said as long as I'm gaining 1/2 pound a week on average, he would be okay.

Had my U/S today and it was pretty exciting to see a baby and hear a heartbeat... I think I was in shock because it kicked in that I was actually pregnant. My due date of the 8th was accurate. I don't have many symptoms either, just really super duper tired and occasionally queasy when I think of certain foods that turn my…

Thanks or the reminder about the Ramzi theory... My U/S appt is this Thursday when I *think* I'll be 7w4d, so we shall see. I'm glad your appt went well. I'm nervous for mine.

I just started the series, but I'm already pregnant. I could see how the book could cause a baby boom. Very Sexy!!

You look great!! Curious..... how tall are you?

April, 2013 might make more sense :)

Congrats to you!!! I'm due in April as well. I had just started MFP and lost almost 5 pounds when I found out I was pregnant. I put myself on maintenance and my goal is to not gain more than 30 pounds with this pregnancy. I gained over 50lbs with my last and I was so miserable.

Due April 8, 2012 too early to know anything yet :)

I used to live there and totally know what you're talking about. Those stairs are HARD!!!! Yay for you!!!!
-
Yay for you!! With my first I went from 160 to 212. The 52 pounds was from all the crap I was eating in my 3rd trimester. I'd eat cake every night and lots of it. Anything I craved, I threw caution to the wind and did it. So, after giving birth and several weeks later, those craving started to go away. It took several…

I just found out as well. I changed my setting on MFP to "maintenance", which automatically upped my calories from 1300 to over 1700. WOWZER!! I then read you should increase another 300 in the 2nd trimester and another 450 in the 3rd. PPS has it right..you could change your setting to gain 1/2 a pound...whatever ups the…

Just found out I'm due in April..... I changed my MFP settings to maintenance, which increased my calories from 1300 to 1750. I then read somewhere you should up your calorie intake in the 2nd trimester by 300 and in the 3rd trimester by another 450. I gained 50lbs last time and I refuse to do it again!!

I'm at 1300 and by the time dinner comes around, sometimes I feel so limited as to what's left to eat, so I lowered my breakfast & lunch calories. However, I would never up my calories because it's a life change I've chosen. 1200 is the minimum anyone can have so if you're starving, you might want to up it a bit. You'll…

I've heard of this "feeling", but have never experienced it, so good for you!!! One day I hope to know what it is :)

What a difference 6 months made for you!! You look great!!

Mines in my online shopping cart as of today :) I'm always guessing ounces and know I'm wrong. I don't want to cheat myself and pretend like I'm doing this right, so I'll be buying. Just worried I'll become obsessed like I am on this site

My absolute favorite way (not very healthy). I mix brown sugar, garlic, butter, dijon mustard, dash of soy, salt/pepper. and melt it all together in the microwave, Pour it over the salmon and bake..... It's SOOOOOO yummy!! Check out brown sugar glazed salmon for alternatives to the ingrediants

I can totally see the difference....big time!! Great job lady....keep it going and can't wait to see more pics along the way :) You look fabulous

Clean the house, go out for a walk, go to the mall and walk around, call someone, create a project for my house. It will pass, but if you do end up eating grab carrots and water, and fill up on healthy :)

lack of sleep, pms-ing, pregnancy, or you've been burning more calories than usual
-
You look soooooo good. Super Cute!!! :)

ooooohhh... i have the thigh problem too....it's definitely the fattest part of my body. I've been doing cardio & strength training (leg specific exercises). Squats are excellent as is walking at a fast pace (i'm not a runner). Mine are a work in progress, so hopefully I have a success story to tell you soon.

I log everyday, that means weekends too.... the app on my phone helps, otherwise I forget every single thing I've eaten

I weigh myself daily, but not because I should, but because I think I'm obsessed with my weight, but in the end, it's just disappointing because I'm up one pound, then down one pound and the day after, back up again. Ugh!!! Weekly would be my advise....it's what I should be doing, but I still can't help myself :)
