^^ Haha! This! I'm always sizing up other women and comparing myself to them.

Spinning for 45 minutes. Burned 530 calories.

5'2" here. Guess I'm on the higher end of the spectrum! I'm aiming for 130. Will reevaluate when I get there. I was 125 pounds and a size 7 when I was 16. I was happy with my body then.

I haven't cut anything out of my diet. I eat pizza, ice cream, pasta, bread, candy, cookies, etc. If it fits in my calories, I eat it. I have cut down on fast food a lot, but if I really want a cheeseburger from somewhere, I go workout so I can fit it in my calories. I plan on doing this the rest of my life, so I'm taking…

I always meal plan. I have a calendar in our kitchen and I write what's for dinner each night. Helps me stay balanced. If I fail to plan, I plan to fail.
-
^^ I agree.

I've heard that maintenance can also be a struggle. I'm a little afraid of transitioning into that. Try to savor the small things and the non-scale victories like your clothes fitting better or small changes that are happening with your body. Keeps me motivated.

Wow... too aggressive! I like to eat *and* lose weight. Eat more. You won't be able to keep up that type of diet for long. I'm hungry just looking at your diary. Why skip lunch?

Spa day, new wardrobe and maybe some new pictures with the hubby since I'll be smaller than him for the first time ever.
-
Yes! I got the Moving Comfort Fiona bra and it's awesome! I'm a 36DD and I dance, zumba and do high impact aerobics. It's very comfortable too and doesn't give me a "uniboob".

1,100 seems kind of low. How tall are you? Your profile says that you're "skinny fat". Have you tried lifting weights?
-
I like my protein shakes. Gives me a little extra to hit my daily goal and keeps me full. I don't eat a whole lot of meat. I'm totally a carnivore, but vegetarian recipes always attract me.
-
I've always had big thighs/calves and strong legs. I'm just now starting to see my quads and freaking love it! Can't wait to show off my legs on some shorts in the summer!
-
What he said. I do squat and press with dumbbells too. I got a lot of ideas and info on proper form by searching youtube.

I'm just playing it by ear right now. My original goal weight was 150. Hit that and I can lose more so I changed it to 130 which is how much I weighed when I graduated high school. I started lifting now and am paying more attention to my body fat percentage. I'm only 5'2" and I've seen goal weights for my height from 98 to…

Upped my calories and boy do I feel better. Started weight training and put away the scale.
-
I'm 5'2" and started at 169 pounds. I've lost my weight eating 1,600 calories a day with eating back exercise calories. Don't starve yourself! 1,000 calories sounds awful. I would kill something if I was eating that little.
-
I would not go. Sounds disgusting! Move far away so you're no longer 3 houses down from them.
-
Zumba is cardio. I go twice a week and wear my heart rate monitor so I know how much I've burned. Some classes are more intense than others.
-
Mine's closed for 2 weeks too! I'm planning on doing some pilates and stretching a lot so I don't feel too bad when I return! I'll mostly miss the calorie burn I got from dance...
-
I'm going to start leaving mine at home or at least take it off when I lift weights. Last time I lifted weights with my rings on, it pinched my palm. My husband and I aren't weird about stuff like that though.
-
I agree!
-
This for me too...
-
Everyone in my family looks like this. This is how my body is supposed to look.
-
I must make these!!
-
Welcome! You live in Wyoming? My husband and I are in Cheyenne. Your username tipped me off :P

I love chicken enchiladas, but instead of corn tortillas, I put them in zucchini boats. So filling and low calorie. I think skinny taste has a recipe.
-
My wrist is 6" and my hips are 40.5 (I'm 5'2" btw). You can't spot reduce where the fat comes off. I know my stomach is going to be the last thing to go because I've always carried weight there. If you're worried about being "skinny fat" then start weight training. Be patient. This should be a lifestyle change. It's not…

If someone saw me doing something with horrible form I would hope they would say something! Especially since I'm so new to lifting.

It's all personal preference. My husband is skinny and I find that I'm attracted most to skinny guys. I just wish my waist was smaller than his! I'm working on that though...
