Exactly this. Personal trainers aren't necessarily trained to give advice on diets. I am not sure what it is like where you live but over here every 3rd ad on the radio is advertising a 12 week course to get qualified to become a personal trainer so I wouldn't put a lot of stock in what most of them have to say about…

So in actual fact you are prepared to leave work to go to the gym but not to go home?
-
So your boss will let you leave work to go to the gym but he wont let you leave work to go home? Geez he sounds like a real peach.

And yet you are the one who started this thread

Like I said how does he even qualify as a friend? He isn't your trainer, he is the guy at the gym who walks around the machines, weights wearing a lanyard or two and saying "Nice form" and you don't see him outside of the gym so your definition of friend must be different to mine. Maybe that is what is concerning your…

I don't understand under what circumstances this person qualifies as a friend? Admittedly I only read a few pages before I wanted to drink something to dull the pain but you said that he isn't even your trainer. He is some guy who works at your gym who adjusts your program sporadically. So what's that once a month once…

If I would never get a tattoo and don't see the point of using a tattoo as a reward for reaching a goal then I probably wouldn't go into a thread created for that specific reason and tell people what they should and shouldn't do.
-
I would have thought that one of the best reasons for getting tattoo's would be to commemorate events that happen throughout your life. Imagine going on a "fancy holiday" and not taking any photos to look back on because "what's the point I am not there any more"

http://www.endomondo.com/home You use the smart phone app to track your miles. You can set up a challenge where people from this thread join and you can see how many miles everyone has done and effectively race against them.
-
You should set up a challenge in endomondo to track everyones miles. It's a really good way to push yourself in a competitive way.

Mexican Riviera 2 years ago with my wife. We stayed in a 1 horse town for 2 weeks and just loved the atmosphere, culture, food and amazing people. It was my second trip to Mexico and my wife's first. We had another week or so in Merida and Mexico City and cant wait to get back there one day.

I have a tattoo that I have had my eye on for 5 or 6 years which I hope to be able to get done sometime in the new year once I hit the first major milestone.
