Stop focusing on the scale. While you don't need to exercise at all to lose weight, there are other benefits to exercise besides weight loss How can I NOT focus on the scale? 163 is an unhealthy weight for me.

LOL! I know what you mean! Anytime Ihave to eat fast food, unfortunately, I always opt for a salad with limited dressing. And we wonder why so many folks are overweight??? Eating healthy is not only expensive, it's very time consuming. Hang in there! :smile:

I love granny smith apples with peanut butter...I also do light english muffins (toasted) with sugar free strawberry jelly for breakfast. Sooo yummy!!!

LOL! Yes, last week I was at the beach...I upped my cals to 1600 about a week prior to vacation because I wasn't losing at 1200 either, however, I was "netting" under 1200 most days in the beginning...Thanks for looking though!!!

What is LCD? My TDEE is 2248, and my BMR is 1450. I am aiming for 1600 cals going in. Is this TOO high? Or NOT high enough? THanks for all your help!

@breakaway --- your post and peoples' comments have finally helped me understand what is going on with me. Thank you SO much! I am "netting" way under 1200 cals with my exercise. So, now I think I understand this correctly, I need to eat more so that my net calories at least meet 1200.

Thanks Deb. I love fruit, but a afraid to eat too much because of the sugar, but it's great for the cals. I am not eating enough cals...which is so depressing because obviously before, I was eating TOO many! Otherwise, I wouldn't be here! LOL!

Honestly, I think plain greek yogurt is disgusting! It tastes like sour cream. However, it is now my FAVORITE thing to eat. I eat Oiko's Plain and add one pack of Splenda (I know, artificial sweetener...) and a teaspoon of honey and it is DELICIOUS!!!! Try just one and see how you like it. It also gives me 15 g of protein…
