Nice one SweetWillie2. Congrats.

I second that Amazing! You have got to have put an awful lot of time and commitment in to get that mileage. Hats of to you LadyBeryl, you are an inspiration.
-
Not too well. Fell short of my target. Only managed 275.3km/171.1mi (68.5%). Must try harder in November.

Managed to make my target for today. Rode 52.9km/32.9mi. Total now 275.3km/171.1mi (68.5%). Must try and do the same again tomorrow.

Today's ride added 30.7km/19.1mi. Total now at 222.4km/138.2mi (55.3%). Tomorrow has got to be a 50+km/31+mi ride or I'm certain of missing my target.

Impressive number there LadyBeryl.

Some good results posted. Well done everyone. After a week of inactivity it was good to get back on the bike. Managed a 22.2km/13.8mi ride today. Total now 147.6km/91.7mi (36.7%). Will have to get some big rides in during the coming week as will be away again as of the 29th on another course.
-
Added 25.4km/15.8mi to my total. Now standing at 125.4km/77.9mi (31.2%). Exercise is going to have to take a back seat for a while, as booked on a training course next week so won't have my bike with me. Hopefully will get a few miles of walking in, but will just bank those as bonus miles as my target is for cycling. Hope…

Many thanks SGRH023, though admit it's easy racking up the miles on a bike. Kudos to all those doing their miles the hard way, that is to say running, walking, cross trainer or whatever your sport is. Keep it up.
-
As a cyclist myself, that is an awesome target. Kudos for taking it on, and here's hoping you make it. All the best LadyBeryl and keep the pedals turning.
-
Early morning ride of 25.6km/15.9mi taking my total to 100km/62.1mi (25.0%).

Only managed 22.4km/13.9mi today. Total now 74.4km/46.2mi (18.5%).

Have just made a donation, and wish you every success with your endeavours - both with the Little Princess Trust and with MFP. All the best, Glenn

Added 25.8km/16.0mi to my total, making it 52.0km/32.3mi (12.9%). Trust everyone's making progress toward their goal. If anyone needs a virtual shove to get you of the couch and out there getting the miles in let me know and I'll send one your way. :-)

Couldn't agree more with SweetWillie2's comment, and encourage you all to keep up the good work!
-
Got around to starting my challenge today and rode 26.2km/16.3mi (6.5%).

Late start to the month as have been away on holiday, but my challenge for Oct. will be to cycle 402.3km/250mi - after all, I've got to loose the holiday pounds I've gained! Thankfully it's only a couple of pounds so hopefully not too hard to shift. :-)
-
Well I managed to get up early enough to get a ride in, and thankfully managed to ride 28.7km/17.8mi. Didn't realise I was cutting it so fine. Total for the month is 301.5km/187.3mi (100.5%). And with that I can depart on holiday guilt free. Thanks SGRHO23 for setting up this group, it's been a great help in motivating me…

I've really got into chicken/turkey salads for lunch. Lettuce, spring onion, tomatoe, a bit of feta and some beetroot mixed with diced chicken or turkey - tastes great, especially if made the night before so all the flavours fuse together. Typically only around 220cals. In the evening, tuna, lime & coriander fish cakes…

Late ride today to get the miles in, otherwise I was assured of missing my target. Managed 31.0km/19.3mi, taking my total to 272.8km/169.5mi (90.9%). Will have to squeeze a ride in tomorrow morning before I depart on holiday, so think I'll be setting the alarm a little earlier than usual.
-
Some great results posted there ladies (hope nobody takes exception to me collectively calling you ladies). Particularly raqufern and the marked improvement on your running. Especially as I'm happy enough to get on my bike and ride for miles, but would find it hard to run across the road. Running's not for me.
-
24.5km/15.2mi today. Total at 241.8km/150.2mi (80.6%). Anyone having difficulty getting the miles in? For me, have found planning my exercise time a few days ahead and putting it my diary has helped me keep to a regular exercise program. Believe that's why I've managed to make good progress towards my target. Think…

Today's ride was 50.2km/31.2mi. Now total is 217.3km/135mi (72.4%).
