Still do your cardio. Do about 30 minutes a day or every other day. I started heavy lifting last week. I follow the Labrada 12 week program. Its a combination of lifting and cardio. He will also advise you on calorie deficits, also. www.labrada.com or check out bodybuilding.com. It has a few programs to help with fat loss.

Height: 5'8 Age/Gender: 35 Female Highest weight- 265 lbs (gained A LOT with the twins. Got down to 242) Current Weight- 198 lbs Current body fat - 35.4% Lowest weight- 134 lbs In my early twenties. I thought I was too skinny. Goal weigh- Not sure but I want my body fat % to be around 21-25%

If your shins are bothering you, your may need to get fitted for some proper running shoes. Been there and good running sneakers help. Also, if you land on your heels that will put pressure on your shins also. This is just some advice I was given from an avid runner. I meant to reply to a poster mentioning her shins.

I have been natural for almost 2 years. I am not on a journey for my natural hair really. But I know if I am healthy on the inside, I will look healthy on the outside. I guess it goes hand and hand. I embraced a routine and motivation for my hair. I and still working hard on my body.
