  • My motivation is going on holiday in exactly 75 days! After that, I will have to find a new motivation to MAINTAIN it LOL!
  • I am SOOOO IN!!! • Height, build, time issues, money issues and health problems are not a "preference" ;)
  • I see my consultant every 3 months as my kidneys are on a slow decline. I have discussed my protein leakage and was advised not to over eat protein as it will make the leakage worse. I know when people tell me to eat more protein, that actually I shouldn't. But some people might not know certain things. Go back about 3…
  • Oh, you have come to play I see... So what you are saying is that EVERYONE likes all the same food, likes all the same exercise, has the same amount of time to workout, has the same amount of money to buy food, has the exact same health issues, has the exact same height and build, has the same overall goals... Wow what a…
  • Erm... surely everyone is different and what works for one person might not necessarily work for another... I am 28 5ft2 122lbs I try to net at least 1200 calories a day, but sometimes I find it a struggle while trying to maintain a completely healthy diet, I don't like peanut butter, avocados or nuts, so I have to bump up…
  • May I just ask, when you say you don't consider 30kg heavy, is that because you have been lifting a while and have been able to progress? The reason I ask, I have only just started and the first 3 sessions I did I thought I was going to die LOL *BLUSHES* but the last time it felt a tad easier mainly for the dead-lifts. The…
  • LOL @ "you outdo me" To me, personally, agree with everyone on here, if it feels heavy to the individual and you cannot get passed a certain number of reps then it is heavy... Does not matter what the weight is, everyone is different and it is not a competition "I can lift heavier than you" providing you are giving it your…
  • That site is very informative, thank you. Thank you for the reply.
  • Well I do lack a lot of knowledge in this area, considering I have only been doing it little over a week ;) so no offense taken... I made the post as I read someones reply to a thread and bascially they said what the person was lifting was NOT heavy... So I was curious.
  • lol, that is a great comment about the DL and squats... I have only just started this program last week which is why I have a re-assessment tomorrow with the PT. I have to admit I do feel I could lift more with the DL's.
  • Currently squats, dead-lifts and stiff leg dead-lifts. I am having a re-assessment tomorrow so might have weight increased or other things added... might have no change at all LOL.
  • Hello I am 5ft 2" weigh 122lbs Only just started lifting last Monday currently lifting 66lbs (30kg) I do 4x 6 reps each of squats, dead-lifts and stiff leg dead-lifts As well as TRX! I LOVE IT!
  • I did a post about this the other day and mentioned that I have a smoothie and fruit which that alone puts me over on my sugar.
  • Thank you for the reply, unfortunately I cannot increase my protein too much as I have kidney disease and leak protein. Just edited original post to add LOL
  • erm *scratches head with confused look* I did say, you said to eat the chocolate... I was making a joke about the fact it was a yoghurt with a side of chocolate... As in ha ha ha? What is IIFYM?
  • The yoghurt part might not be that bad, but I bet the chocolate balls in the other side aint too good LOL. Some people say if you have enough calories to eat a chocolate OR crisps OR "naughty" yoghurt then have it, but I can have enough calories to eat ALL of them... Does anyone have an open diary of good ways bump up…
  • Thank you. The only issue I have with my diet is that when I eat super healthy I don't get anywhere near my 1200... I do not like avocados, peanut butter or any other kind of nuts so bumping up my calories is difficult and find myself eating a chocolate, yoghurt or something else to up my calories. I also have to be very…
  • During my work out I feel like I am going to die! LOL! I get home and sit on the sofa for about 5 minutes before going up for a shower and I ache, but the next morning I felt totally fine.
  • Thank you guys. My gut instincts say to listen to the PT, now to kindly tell the other guys thanks for his advice, but no thanks... without offending him.
  • Bike- warm up 10 minutes Elliptical- 8 Minutes (30sec level 10 1 minute level 5) TRX (4 sets 10 reps) ~Chest press ~45 degree row ~Jackknife ~Mountain climbers ~Jackknife twists Weights (4 sets, 6 reps, 30kg) ~BB squats ~Dead lifts ~Stiff leg dead lifts Treadmill 15/20 minutes (cool down) All three days.
  • Thank you so much for that. Yes it was worse this morning than it was yesterday, but not as much now. I have got some really good running shoes, but when you mentioned the jumping, I had done an at home workout which had a lot of jumping and I was not wearing my trainers so perhaps that is what has done it maybe.
  • Thank you everyone. I have never had this before it is such a peculiar sensation. Sort of like a bruise-ish sensation but not quite LOL. It is right on the bottom of my foot so whenever I put my foot on the floor I can feel it.
  • Did them Monday... (with the exception of the one legged squat) sure as heck felt them Tuesday... More so than when I used all the other machines. I also felt it in my abs, arms and back... Felt good!
  • I used one, they have them at the gym.
  • Thanks again. Deep tissue massage booked (scared it will hurt LOL) Will definitely take on board the tips, so if there are any more tips, then keep 'em coming LOL :)
