Remember that tiny little poke that seemed to overreact? It is a painful knot today. It’s like it’s on a tendon. I swear. The universe better be balancing bad and good and some good better be coming my way any day now. Dr google suggests it’s a fibrous scar. I really hope it doesn’t get any larger or more tender. Guess…

Disclaimer. Not a doctor just offering suggestions The subscapularius is on the back under the shoulder blade. Pain can radiate from back to front though. @Avidkeo you wanna join me in a game of “diagnose me”. Or anyone else? Share experiences? Anatomical diagrams Things to consider: (don’t actually have to share this with…

Thanks! I use the app on Android and the iPad. Grabbed the blocker and will try it with safari. I usually browse with Mozilla on the lap top. Which seem ok if I’m remembering correctly.

Aww I’m jealous. I’ve always wanted one! @RunsOnEspresso my premium ran out in April so I’m plagued with the dumbest adds I got out for a walk. It is 97F/36C out. What a mistake. I am not heat conditioned in the least. I feel lucky to not have passed out. Nice cold shower and a bowl of frozen blueberries with blueberry…

I’m down for the bidet. But I don’t wanna see it on mfp. You wouldn’t get doodie on your hands and just wipe it off with tp, so your bits shouldn’t be any different (I’d think). I was offended yesterday by a Poise add that mentions “in your pants”. My ears just cringed. Maybe I’m just getting old!

I am seeing this disturbing add on MFP for DIY bathroom upgrade saving Americans thousands on toilet paper. The photo looks like a *kitten* blow-dryer or maybe is a spray nozzle from the kitchen sink. see? Rest of the post redacted because I am trying to not complain so much. The above is an observation, not a complaint.…

@Avidkeo a fellow hitchhiker of the universe!

@quilteryoyo great news about your dad! After a bit, I thought if i can find that part cheaper in 5 minutes from oem, (common after market parts), they might be trying to make money by charging the shipping and have it sent economy, free. I can consider finding someone else, or do it myself -but no way with this shoulder.…

Looks like maybe you chewed through it, eh Hulk? LOL!

@ddmom0811 sent you a PM for the info! thanks!

@ddmom0811 When I talked to my PCP about an antidepressant I also thought that I wasn't that bad, just a little overwhelmed. He wont keep me on them for more than 3 months. I like that. So, you could give it a month and wean back off them if it isn' t helping or whatnot. Anxiety/depression often come with age and being…

@quilteryoyo I feel like a Huggies commercial, “I’m a big kid now!” Haha! I just gotta keep perspective! I tore the under pinning on my car some months ago... 9 or so.. and am just getting around to fixing it. I left the task with a local repair shop, I mean, do it for me, right? I found the parts online said if y’all can…

@ddmom0811 The thyroid test isn’t like other test where above or below a range indicates an abnormality in function. The thyroid (t3 t4) can be high or low and still be normal, so often docs just leave it untreated. But he should have heard that you feel that you are having symptoms, although he might have and attribute…

Wait? The rain works fine, or natural springs... Right?

@mbaker566 I wear this: edited to remove horrible link. Back country has them if anyone want one. I like it. It's cooler than most, keeps the sun of my face and hair that lightens in the sun (I'd rather it not). I have a Nike golf hat that is also cool enough to wear and wicks sweat or keeps rain out of my face.

thanks for the first hand/shoulder account @shanaber. If I’m lucky enough to have the short version of this, guess I have til next April before it’s gone. so I better buckle in. I see doc in 2 weeks, I am sort of hopping for the offer to go in and clean up the adhesions, but no idea when that’d fit in my schedule. Weight…

@Avidkeo I have adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder). I found some cases documented by reputable sources. NIH I think it was. No idea why else I'd have it. Which just adds to the frustration. I tricked myself to get out. I sat in the car. It wasn't so bad so I made it out. Bribed mysywith a prescription for lastisse.…

Yesterday’s food was okay until dh cooked a pizza. I ate too much of it and wasn’t even hungry and it wasn’t that yummy to eat 1000 calories worth. Phhhhhh. Today Coffee and cream- swear I’m going to give it up, the cream, because of the calories and it’s milk. Just gross. But so good in coffee. Alternative suggestions?…

@quilteryoyo sounds like a stressful day well managed. That’s a hard decision to make when the circumstance is real. Many hugs and prayers to you and your family, especially your dad. Dh told me about this and I just had a flash back to Rodney King, “can’t we all just get along”. I don’t know the details, right or wrong.…

@bearly63 ahh the violinist must be me in another shell, a kindred spirit. I’ve been practicing today despite the shoulder. I’ll keep at it knowing some day, I can perhaps do such a task. I am having one of those weeks. Dh just keeps rubbing me the wrong way. So I took a super small amount of antidepressant, (open capsule…

@shanaber Phlebotomy here is just a "let me show you, now you go do it". I know the blood bank will take on workers with no training and teach them. There are certificate programs that take a month (or more) then I think they pass a national exam. I bet it's similar in Texas- @bearly63 ? You have a placement date on the…

I second. Hopefully he’s just normal kid tired. Keep us updated. i hope he recovers quickly. Just a quick thought, how’s his diet? Could he be B12 deficient?
-
@RunsOnEspresso Yay! For changing vets. I'm all about the vibe. And if they didn't address your concerns and you are the one paying? They shouldn't expect to keep clientle.

Thanks @ddmom0811 I have another cream that has the spoon thing and knew. The box had instructions and I think you mentioned the video before. I offered the samples to DD. She was so happy.
-
Oh I'd have snapped a photo of it and sent it to them and gone to lunch. Keep us updated.

@bearly63 I think the one I bought is just a moisturizer. They do offer sunscreen. A quick google and their products can be found at Sephoria. We have an Ulta, I may see if they carry it. I really love it so far and gave DD the samples. She was stoked. I'll probably grab a sunscreen one too. @RunsOnEspresso Sending good…

Any one wanna do the honors of starting June’s thread?

@shanaber Gald you have more answers. I missed that yesterday. Hopefully all is well and good with the pacemaker and continued care. I know we’re so far apart, but if you need anything let us know. I think you deserve a spa day with the dd, at least. Or maybe together we can pop in on @HonuNui next summer/winter. That'd be…
