I am being weaned off of 30 mg duloxetine XR. I currently am taking 20 mg (not XR) once every 2-3 days. I think it's been ~2-3 weeks at the lower dose and the last week at lower and not daily. PCP definitely thinks it could be the culprit, but it did start before I took the med. But I can double-check that and make sure.…

ohmeeger! the school is selling PIES!!!!!! I ordered 2. PIE!!!!!!!!!! its PIE!!!!!!!

I made the neuro appointment. I really didn't wanna and tried to wiggle out of calling today. The office gave me a choice of Dr Male or Dr Female, so I chose Dr Female. Then was transferred to make said appointment and they assume dr male. I request dr female. "oh..." oh? well, guess everyone wants dr male. I google dr…

PT today I am doing better, less grumpiness in the SI joint. It is still out, but she thinks it might just take a bit to calm it down. I seemed to have sprained my wrist simply sweeping last week and mentioned it in passing, how the simple things can/will cause injury. She thought as I, probably a subluxated wrist bone…

@quilteryoyo Thats great that you have a plan and the doc is on-board. Glad to hear it alleviates some stress and concern, we all need that. jerky reflection -Pt yesterday I am of the opinion that the spastic response could have been guarding and unrelated to the jerks. I had experienced one episode of clonus (repetitive…

I heard today that next semester's courses will likely be online. I assume they anticipate an increase with flu season here. @quilteryoyo perhaps they are slow to get back to you because no one knows what is going on and what the plan for this season. I'm a cry baby Sure, the day is emotional. Dh found an audiotape…

@quilteryoyo I hope they get back to you soon. The cathartic walk/run was always a good move for me. I'd take the boys to the lake and let them give the rocks their woe and throw it in. I've done the same with throwing horseapples at trees. This year has been so hard. Hang in there, we have your dad in our thoughts and…

@shanaber the butter chicken is here. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with fish. If you make it with this recipe or another let me know. We don’t get good fish here but maybe a frozen cod would do, I’d like to try it. We have frozen mahi-mahi too. So I may try it. I’ve had that swollen node for a few years, it just seem…

Boob ultrasound result “FINDINGS: RIGHT BREAST ULTRASOUND: Scattered fibroglandular tissue is noted diffusely throughout the right breast. A 3.8 x 0.8 x 0.9 cm reactive lymph node is identified in the right axilla. This is not seen on previous screening mammogram October 14, 2020. No suspicious mass. No dilated ducts. No…

Pt visit was productive, I can walk without pain, I am just weak and need a little training. I see her again Thursday. yay! we did something like biofeedback with direct current to help break this pain loop and it will identify angry muscles that we can isolate and work on. She realigned my hips and I stretched to show her…

I did not do so well on the last pharm exam. Pharm is supposed to be my jam. 81. I'll have to shift a bit and dig into those concepts that I dismissed as being too in-depth for this course. Think that drops me from a 93.5-94 to a 90. Horrible migraine today. Period hormones and stress I suppose. I thought i was menopausal?…

@ddmom0811 eh a few extra calories is probably good for healing anyway. Election? oh i think I heard something about that... I wanted to see how long I could go without knowing anything. Apparently about 2 seconds if you get on FB. Least the orange devil is on his way back to Hades. *shrugs* I was so tired of his…

@rheddmobile Thanks for the Indian food reciepe. I'll check it out. I haven't tried saag. I found a recipe for dum aloo and plan to try it. Re: winter. I mentioned to DH that it looked like it was going to be a cold one finally this year too (it is 2020, maybe hell is about to freeze over HA!). The little birds were…

@Avidkeo Good luck with the weekend foods! You got this. @rheddmobile I like that idea with the cranberries. Dh said he'd have eaten them in the curry. Have you ever made butter chicken? I think I will try to make it with aloo gobi sometime. I have a lentil chili to make before tasking that meal though. I have some…

Ooof I did too much yesterday. My hip is terrible. At least since it hurts so bad, Dh is cleaning up the kitchen. (his mess finally). @shanaber I like the cranberries cooked, throwing them on top proved to be too tart after about 3 of them. I put them and jalapenos with pecans in cornbread. Mmm.
-
@quilteryoyo Well, At least you get the chance (maybe) to run a turkey trot, er virtually. AND run off your favorite holiday indulgence. I don't know that I got much done today, I did get some cleaning done, killed a bunch of zombies (yeh welcome), 1 hr of violin and Eleanor is recognizable, and I found some cool surgical…

Lunch. I realized not everyone like cranberries in curry, so I just added mine on top. Bet she would have eaten it anyway. His has jalapenos.

Thanks @quilteryoyo ! I cleaned the house a bit, that website (vegan food) has so many easy recipes and I can find all of the ingredients. So I did a walmart order. No more frozen pizza, chips, or dominos because DH shops. 350$ grocery trip and there is still nothing to eat? I spent 50 and have 3 meals. I put on the acorn…

I came across a web site for vegan dishes. Thanks FB, see how nice FB can be when you only add people you actually know, although... I said I would add everyone because they can't post on Alex's page if they aren't my peep, but figure they could at least PM me. Anyway, https://eatsomethingvegan.com/roasted-cabbage-steaks/…

Thanks, @Avidkeo and @quilteryoyo. My raw score is 92% so I guess I learned more than I thought. I cried during my test... The instructor is going to love reviewing that video. oh well. Today is an antidepressant day and it seemed to start working about halfway through. Now to get organized for the rest of the day/week.…

@Avidkeo I've been stress eating. It's awful. I miss my antidepressant. Jerks are few and far between though. Bear is back to being a pain in the rear to the other cats, and DH. I just interpret it as my spoiled wild child and enjoy his personality. LOL! Exam in 7 minutes. I do not feel prepared nor awake. I am tempted to…

@bearly63 I love tortilla soup! MMMM. I think we have everything for it too. It's quick and easy, I may do it! Those pretzels are addictive, I am not looking at them. ;)

@quilteryoyo I am hoping it will get better. It's really no big deal if I cry, I remind myself that it will pass and often feel very close to Alex when my sadness is great. It is an extra obstacle to manage and I feel behind in school work. I'll phone them again today and see if I can get info on the ultrasound. Bear He…

So nice to see everyone here today! I’m so thankful for you all. Still sad I didn’t go to my 8am class, didn’t even try to join the zoom part of it cuz last time she had little heifer because I wasn’t sick and didn’t clear it w her first. So, I didn’t sweat missing when I awoke tired with back twinges. I get hateful off…
-
@quilteryoyo I am often too blunt like @Avidkeo and wind up with my foot in my mouth. I am a little better now that I have a rapport with them, like the boob visit, he hands me a gown and says hell step out. I said nonsense, we've known each other too long for that, and proceeded to remove my top in a locker-room fashion.…

I carried bear on my shoulder to get the mail, he's lost 2 pounds and only weight 12.04 pounds. I have mid back spasms now. Least with the valium the jerks stopped. I feel like I seriously need a personal health manager. *I know there is no post on Sunday, but amazon said my gloves will be delivered today. Bet nachos will…

I'm tierd. ima tierd jerk today. Finally got the lower dose antidepressant, no more separating the higher dose and worrying about spilling it and Bear or Bean or even dumb dumb Goober getting into it. I'm mentally willing dh to fetch breakfast sandwiches. Scale is still trending up, but just 1/2 a pound from the upper…
