  • How did everyone do today? I ended up being on the road all day. Completed the water goal (I think) but not much else. Tomorrow I have a looong work day so will not be able to check-in.
  • I just joined so didn't track today but will start tomorrow. The weekend may be a bit tricky for me as we are going away and I will not have internet access, but I'll be back at it by Monday.
  • This start date (after the 4th) is perfect for me! Charita you are very ambitious! I will settle for 64oz water, 10k steps and being green everyday - which means I need to log all food - something I have been struggling with for awhile now...
  • Hi guys - I'm new to the group. My goal is to keep an accurate food journal and maintain a daily calorie deficit. As the name of the group says - keepin' it green!
  • I'm in - need to fit into my clothes again...
  • I'm going for inches instead of pounds. I'm not sure how many is realistic, I just know the number needs to go down.
  • Hey glad to see this group is still active - somehow I lost the link and couldn't find you guys - glad to be back again. no change in weight :( I need y'all to motivate me!
  • Welcome Toni. I stocked up on Quest bars at Sprouts today. Another shopper commented that they could be purchased for half the price on Amazon... Just under 10k steps today...but I did a one hour conditioning class. Age well and drank all my water too

  • Amy - how did you do today? Better than over the weekend? Oregano - 'real life buddies' - love it! So should we do daily check-ins here? Start a challenge group or a spreadsheet or something? I had a great food day and got in my exercise today too...so I'm 1 for 1 :D
  • nice job KelliB! I had my best food day in awhile today and did over 20k steps :) Now my feet are sore!!! but in a good way! Lisawinning - I totally agree about the Quest bars! I try not to have more than one/day!

  • Oregano - you are so right! PrizePopple - my daily slacking did turn in to weeks and months and now I've gained back everything I lost last summer...I really need a challenge group with daily check in for meal and exercise accountability - but no weigh-in - I can't bear to step on a scale right now!...would you two be…

  • Guinevere - what are cauliflower tater tots???
  • I'm at the same starting place as you both but goal weight is 120 (119 actually :) ) 'cause I'm a shortie : ) I had really good luck with low carb last year (and gained it all back over the holidays ( :\ ). I am also not a meat eater. I am looking for somewhere to be held accountable for daily exercise and eating.

  • I really want to do this but I think I need to break it down a bit... I 'forgot' to start today so I'll do M thru Sunday: 1) log all food daily 2) stay in the green zone daily 3) check-in here daily

  • Jan 5-11 1. track and be green: 1/7 2. no sugar, no flour: 1/7 3. 8+ cups water/tea daily: 3/7 So sad - it's only day 3 and I've already fallen off the wagon twice... :( forestrose - nice to 'see' you again too. Sadly I must admit in my hiatus I have more or less gained back everything I lost last summer. Here we go…
  • Nice job! I, on the other hand, didn't do so well! I actually walked 800 steps more on Monday than Tuesday, and about the same today as yesterday...between work and the cold temperatures and the fact that it's getting dark early in the evening, I don't think this challenge is going to work for me. I'm also doing the…
  • Jan 5-11 1. track and be green: 1/7 2. no sugar, no flour: 1/7 3. 8+ cups water/tea daily: 1/7 so far so good. I tempted myself by walking through the Christmas clearance aisle at CVS; all the candy was 75% off but this challenge helped to keep me honest. :)
  • Hi everyone and happy new year! Toronto Julie - we seem to have a lot in common! I'm a fitbit-er too, and need to be more diligent about taking my vitamins. Hope you don't mind I copied your wording for goal #1. Jan 5-11 1. track and be green 2. no sugar, no flour 3. 8+ cups water/tea daily
  • I'm in! I'm using a fit bit so will report my total steps and will aim to add at least 500 more (1/4 mile) each day. I particularly like this challenge because I'm not ready to step on the scale yet. My goal is clean eating and lots of movement this month and resuming regular weigh-ins in February. Good luck with the…
  • should we agree to check in daily? do you want to add a food/eating challenge as well??
