such great answers all around!!! even though we are losing weight and have future weight goals, we still rock NOW!!!! I've learned: if we don't give ourselves permission to be be bold when we are big, we STILL feel timid and scared when we are small... (it's still possible to feel "unworthy" of a bikini when thin if we…

whether or not "normal" size is "good".... since mannequins are meant to show WHAT CLOTHING WILL LOOK LIKE ON A HUMAN BODY, shouldn't the mannequins therefore LOOK LIKE AN AVERAGE HUMAN BODY? whether we have gotten too big or not, what's the point in seeing something on a mannequin that looks nothing like us? and since…

great job!!! and maybe some of the sleeves of the long shirts can be cut shorter for spring and summer...cut jersey knit (ie: cotton t shirt fabric) does not even need to be hemmed if u cut neatly with a fabric scissor. cut both sleeves at once to ensure exact symmetry of length

i chose to use 1 T of earth balance instead of 2T. i scheduled my day around making dinner at home, even tho it meant having to voice to others that i did not want to eat out today. i tried on some "skinny" pants, and they are SUPER close to being wearable i took a nap today instead of grazing in the afternoon i am playing…

NEVER heard that one; I am laughing out loud! definitely, that one takes the (vegan) cake! someone asked me how i justify eating yeast (in breads, etc) since yeast are alive. it's like: Yeah, so are al microorganisms...they even live on our skin and in our poop, and we have no way of avoiding them. since when do people…

i started at well over 200 pounds, and injured my knee training for a half marathon (walking only). then, a trainer encouraged me to RUN...this compounded my knee further. i know from whence i speak. they say every pound of excess body weight is an added 4-8 lbs of impact on a knee. this is why running is best reserved for…

though getting active is a good thing, your knee is telling you NO RUNNING. seriously, u will damage your knee if u run at this point. walking is good, swimming, pilates, yoga. lemme guess: your friend is a "normal" or low weight? well she may love and support u, but she aint a doc and does not understand the pressure on…

from my experience, and the experience of many people i know who have lost large amounts of weight and kept it off, the key is to KEEP measuring and tracking your food, basically, FOREVER. BUT, DON'T think of it as "forever". if you think of it as "one day at a time", that is do-able. several years ago, i lost 70 pounds by…
