people on here can be jerks. get a second opinion from another professional re: such low calories. try the plan for a couple of weeks, keeping a journal of how u feel. if u can, get an at-home BF% tester to keep track of your BF and, therefore, your lean muscle mass. make sure u are not losing lean muscle while u do this.…

for me, i think what makes the paleo diet "work" is the emphasis on vegetables and the elimination of processed and refined junk: sugar, refined grains, etc. IMHO, and according to my research, a person can best take advantage of that benefit when going VEGAN (which many call the opposite of Paleo), as long as that vegan…

think of it this way: fruits and veggies can give u all the carbs u need: some vegans eat nothing more than fruits and veggies (LOTS of veg in a day), nuts and seeds, beans, etc. if u want more carb than that, THEN add in small amounts of INTACT grains (millet, brown rice, amaranth, quinoa) eating bread, pasta, crackers…

raw diets need to be carefully planned. being raw vegan takes a lot of work. i would not suggest adopting it just for some sort of short term drastic weight loss plan.

okay, but organic DOES mean NON-GMO. that alone is worth the extra cost to me.

go on the restuarant's website, or call ahead, to get the menu. stick with vegetarian, vegetable-based dishes (vegetable jahlfreezi is pretty healthy) skip rice and naan bread. big ole plate of veggies, not fried, but simply sauteed, and you're golden :)

ditch this trainer, trust your gut. stay on your own path: it's working!
-
....realize that i have never "arrived", and that it will take just as much work, if not more, to MAINTAIN my loss. that, and jump up and down screaming with joy ;)
-
yes on the "add more fruits and veggies" thing no on the "eliminate coconut water" thing as long as u are drinking the unsweetened coconut water, u are fine :) be careful of others trying to mess with your food too much. read, study, find what works for you. stick with your beliefs and experience on this journey. everyone…

get as many books on vegan nutrition as you can : library, amazon, soak it up and figure out the science behind what works and what does not stay very PLANT based; while many chips, crackers, and other processed items are vegan, they won't fill u up or give you nutrients like fruits, vegetables, beans, or seeds will take a…

many people lose not only 100 pounds, there are people who lose HUNDREDS of pounds. it is an amazing feat for sure, and i always admire those who do it, or even just attempt it.

hourglass here; u can see how weight loss is helping to bring out my TRUE hourglass even more :) before: halfway to goal: before: halfway to goal:

i agree that calling oneself vegan if u occasionally eat NON vegan items is inaccurate, misleading, and ultimately weakens the cause of fighting animal suffering and oppression. also, maybe some people follow a 'vegan diet' for health or weight reasons, and would not object to, say, wearing leather shoes, or buying…

that is a very heavy hoop, as u progress u will need a lighter hoop. and make sure it a dance hoop, not one of those "exercise" hoops with nubby bumps or foam. i have been hoopdancing for 3 or 4 years, taught classes, and did performance gigs. check out hooping.org to get more info, find tutorial videos, and open up the…

the doctor's appt is a good idea.

^This. Ask yourself why u went vegan in the first place.

an eating disorder is not something u magically "catch" from counting cals. honestly, most of us here probably already HAVE an eating disorder...i am a compulsive overeater with a tendency to binge. anorexia and bulimia are not the only disorders, u know.
