  • My husband and I go bike riding or walking through the many state/city parks in our area. Going to botanical gardens, the arboretum, museums, aquariums and zoo are a lot of fun too.
  • I too have the Cuisinart version of the 'magic bullet' and LOVE it! I make my morning smoothie, a green smoothie for lunch and even use it to make a fruit sorbet like desert smoothie. Easy to use and very easy to clean up! I also have the Cuisinart stick blender and it worked well for me prior to getting this.
  • Discovered this gem a few days ago~ 1 stalk celery, 1 large Roma tomato, 3/4 cup spinach, 1/2 large cucumber, 1/4 cup water, and some ice. Add Frank's hot sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper all to taste. Blend it up in your smoothie maker of choice and drink up. I can't believe how awesome this taste! I…
  • Suppose I should have read the requirement about chic peas or beans before posting. :) In which case I will add instead pinto beans in the crock pot with just a bit of olive oil, water, garlic, and onion. Sorry I haven't cooked with chic peas~ all my hummus comes from Sabra!
  • Also zucchini 'fires'. I slice the zucchini in the shape of fries, dredge in milk, and coat in a mixture of Parmesan and seasonings. Spray pan with a little Pam and bake at 350 for about 15 minutes, flip and cook for about 15 more minutes. Dip in a little ranch. I add a little hot sauce to the ranch for a kick!
  • Black Beans! We cook ours in the crock pot. Water, hot sauce, chili powder, cumin, onion powder (or small onion), garlic powder all in there with the beans and in 6 hrs we have a 77 calorie side dish!, If you have the calories some light sour cream and pico de gallo on top make this even more delicious. We also do pinto…
  • I too would love to know if any one figures this out. So far my only solution has been to say the recipe makes x number of servings and then measure out my recipe in cups until I figure out how much a serving is at that point.
  • I don't cook mine either. I put the oats, almond milk, apple, cinnamon, and stevia in the smoothie maker. My boss got me hooked on it. Calls it her 'apple pie smoothie'. Hubby mixes his oats with flax seed, almond milk, and honey and then eats it cold. Looks like barf to me but he seems to like it. :)
  • You can also put it on a grill safe pan with some olive oil, salt, pepper and grill it until it starts to char slightly. This and the oven recipe are my fav two ways to cook asparagus!
