Congrats! It's funny how it hits you sometimes how far you've come. Keep up the good work!

I agree - I log it and then look for trends in the cravings to try to tease out why I'm craving a certain something. If it is something in particular that I crave (as opposed to 'I just want to snack'), then I try to look at the nutritional breakdown and figure out if I was lacking something in my diet. For instance, if I…

If you want a pre-made shake and have a Costco membership, they have Premier Protein shakes cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

"Finished last" trumps "Did not finish" which trumps "Did not start"

I agree with @Cherimoose. I used to sometimes workout without having eaten enough that day. I would get dizzy and my ears would start to feel full like I had a head cold and couldn't hear well. I found out that it was low blood sugar, so I now make sure to eat enough during the day before exercise, even (especially?) if…

Definitely miss The X-Files. When I stayed at my cousin's place with cable, I liked Not Necessarily the News and Mr. Science. From childhood, I loved a PBS show called Square One (math show). (Rereading this, it becomes obvious that I was always a nerd, LOL.)

MFP allots all of your calories for the day at 12:00am each night, whereas Fitbit allots calories as the day goes on. This is what I tell myself when I have slip-ups. The bad news: You fell off the wagon. The good news: Another wagon leaves tomorrow; be on it.

Well, I can see myself being a little put off if I made plans with a friend to go out to lunch or (worse) dinner and when we got to the restaurant, that person had already eaten and just drank water while I had a meal. Yes, it would make me feel awkward and a little annoyed that now I'm hungry and have to spend money to…

Is suburbs a choice? I don't think I could live in a city - too much bustle and not enough land for the food to grow/roam. I do wish I was a little closer to town though. I think 1-1.5 miles from a store/restaurant/bar would be nice. You know, walking distance but not in the center of everything.
