Slash fanfiction. I don't know why. Lol but in real life it would definitely be guys who are really freakin' flirtatious and confident. Also, a deep voice never hurts.

If you've done favors for her before, you're doing the photography for free, and you're taking the time to edit the photos for her instead of just giving her the raw photos, I think she should compensate you some. I guess the question is, what events would you have gone to if you weren't her photographer? Those would be…

Always, or in other words 22 years and some months.

It's a hard choice but the episode I would have to say is my favorite is Jaynestown. It's one of the funnier ones and I like the little bit of background on Jayne.

Hahaha this thread is going at a post per week. It is driving me nuts that the premiere isn't until October and they changed the time/day of the week again so I've got to attempt figuring that out.

I've just joined this group and I want some more geeky/nerdy friends for sure!

This is pretty much me too, except I do like the occasional anime. I used my high school graduation gown to make a Harry Potter costume for the Deathly Hallows premieres too!

I probably would. I imagine (and the article said) that any shyness would vanish after a little while. Plus, I know that most of the hygiene problems people worry about with nudists they are totally aware of and take steps to deal with. For example, the article said they had to dress for dinner.

I think this is the best answer.

That is awesome! It's also a brilliant idea with the jars, sadly I think it would backfire on me.

Fresh snap peas and chocolate.

I don't know if you had chocolate cake in mind but I made a chocolate black bean cake for Christmas and no one in my family could even taste the black beans. It was kind of a hit if I do say so myself. This recipe is actually flour, sugar, gluten, and dairy free. The recipe's at…

I'm totally bumping this because I just got a desk job.

This was my thought as well. On the other hand, it would be kinda awesome to run red lights and steal myself a better laptop...I bet lots of priceless artifacts would be stolen during the Purge. The Declaration of Independance was stolen during the Purge? Too bad, so sad, it's a good thing you have copies.

Well, I don't know how good it is in comparison to other scales but I have a Weight Watchers scale I bought at Target and I like it pretty well.

It was rather lovely finding the Friday Eye Candy thread on Sunday.
-
I love the nerdiness of this thread. Although, that might be because I'm drawn to anything that mentions Firefly or Doctor Who.

Does anyone else think that the photoshopped versions are starting to look increasingly creepy the more you become aware that they are 'shopped?
-
Wow. That's amazing. I knew that lots of images were photoshopped but I didn't realize exactly how much they are. Thanks for posting!

Lies! I have a SAAB which is a dream to drive and it really doesn't need a mechanic very often, even getting it used...although finding a mechanic who knows how to work on it is kind of a pain in Wyoming/Colorado. For the OP: Definitely #2.

Maybe it just looks like it's still alive and they just think your cat really really loves that spot on your mantle.

I know the feeling. I was in a Govt in Film and Lit class and we had just watched Wag the Dog which, if you don't know, is about a President hiring a film crew to create a war so he could look better for the election. A week later Osama Bin Laden was killed and given an at sea burial. I was all in "conspiracy mode" until I…

So much truth in this statement.

Me too.

I'm related to one of the founders of Chicago, John Kinzie, he's got a wikipedia page and everything. And, I'm related to Juliette Gordon Low aka "Daisy", the founder of the Girl Scouts, through my mom's side. She was born Juliette Magill Kinzie Gordon, which is proof enough for me since that spelling of "Kinzie" is rare…

I got so distracted by the Dean one...and then the rest of them too. God, they're just all awesome. This thread is awesome.

I'll bump this for you Axel, 'cause I'm interested too.

I do agree with your overall argument that a person/woman shouldn't be called a "victim" or "statistic" just because they have a different opinion on the use of guns. However, I think you are kind of misinterpreting how serious the situation was, perhaps because of a misunderstanding of what "scrap metal" is. It's not…
