I guess more or less what I have read states eating a diet higher in carbs can result in constant spikes in blood sugar. This *can* eventually progress into insulin resistance and is linked to obesity and heart disease. Also type 2 diabetes as one person mentioned.

I read something that states eating two pieces of wheat toast is the equivalent of 2 tsp of sugar into your blood stream!

Thank you for all the advice. I have a feeling my body started getting used to the amount of exercise and calories daily so I think I need to push myself harder, exercise wise. I will try that and see how it goes! :-)

THIS! It just goes to show weight doesn't mean everything people think. I weigh less than you and boy let me tell you...our bodies are way apart! I look dreadful at where I am at. Well, maybe not dreadful but nowhere near as good as you. I just started lifting last night so I'm on my way though! lol

I am 5'5 and right about your weight OP. I am looking to lose much more!!!!!

Mine toooooo! :-)

Incorporating weights will definitely help. Sometimes for some people, a tummy tuck is really the only help for that situation. You are young so I would try and stick with working out and see what it does for you. I gained 70 lbs with my son and I know my stomach just isn't going back without surgery :/

Vin Diesel!!!! Lol

Stomach!!!! Wow look at those abs!!!! :-)

Add me Lady! I am 27 and a mother of a 10 month old who also works full time. I manage to do the best I can with working out. Even if it is at 9PM at night, if I have time...I'm doing something! I know exactly how you feel. It is a struggle but it is all worth it:-) Your kids will thank you down the road when they realize…

I am sure I will too. I have actually priced them. Around here in NH they are around 6,000. I am probably going to save up for one :)

OMG...you look awesome. Honestly. If I saw you walking on the beach rocking a bikini I wouldn't be paying any attention to that small little trouble area. You look thin and fit to me. I do know how you all feel though. I have the loose skin exactly where you do. I never did until I gained 70 lbs with my son and lost it all…

I am a mother of a 10 month old son. I have lost 60 pounds total, 44 since I started using MFP. I gained 70 lbs with him! :(

So here is the thing..I've been told any "loose skin" that you can pinch is still a bit of fat that needs to be worked on. Skin is very thin, consider the skin on the back of your hand or eyelids. I completely understand how you feel though. I had a baby 10 months ago and I have exactly what you've illustrated. I know I…

Wow, you look great! You should be so proud :)

Yes, well I used to. I gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant with my son so I am back up there but losing currently. When I used to weigh 140lbs(I am 5'5) I used to get SO many people telling me I'm too skinny. I find it weird because my target weight is 125lbs lol. I honestly believe a lot of it has to do with your…

Wow! You look amazing! You look like you are much less than 174lbs. You should be so proud. I agree with the statement that seeing other people's success is a huge motivator. I have another 45 lbs to go and I am trying like hell to work my butt off toward it. Kudos to you girl! :-)
