Congrats!!! That is a huge deal, you should be so proud of yourself. I used to say I wouldn't run even if the cops were chasing me, and now I jog 4 days a week (5km each run). We all have that extra push in us, we just have to patient till it is ready to come out. Congrats again!

I do eat my veggies and all the time. But just because you put those next to the big mac does not negate the fact that the big mac isn't the healthiest choice. I'm not knocking the guy, people have to learn to take things with a grain of salt.

I tried a few apps on my phone when I started running, but the best thing I did was get a Garmin watch with heart rate monitor, this thing is amazing, a bit pricey yes, but I use it 6 days a week when I workout.

I have always struggled with my sugar intake. It is very rare that I have been under or at the daily amount. I too get most of my sugar from fruit which I eat in the morning. Got rid of them as I went. With so much weight loss I couldn't even get them altered. So as I lost the sizes I donated the clothing. Now there is no going back, I can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe again after buying the one I have now LOL!

I am just starting maintenance and I am upping my calories by 50. I know it isn't much but I want to do it slowly and see what works, I don't want to increase it by a lot and have to work it back off. So I plan to increase it by 50 calories every 2-3 weeks until I feel it is stabalized and at a good place.

I have always weighed cooked meats. Like the other posters, not sure if that is right, but that is what I have been doing.

I buy a box that only has 100 calorie bags in it, so I don't have to try and figure it out. Yes they are smaller but at least I know exactly what I am getting.
