I have 7 more pounds to go (and I will be at exactly half my size when I get there) and they do not want to leave me. Although there may be some light, I weighed today and was down a pound. I am not going to log it though, I wait a couple of days to make sure I stay at that weight before I log it, but I have been sitting…

I am doing one. I am on week two day two. Who knew the difference from running one minute to one and half minutes was so big. As i was running last night I thought " there is no way I can run a 5km straight" but then I reminded myself that, that is why I am doing the training so I will get there, but boy, sometimes it is…

As many others have said I am no expert or Dr. I had a quick look at your diary and noticed that your fat intake for the day go over (not always, but frequenlty), perhaps trying to get that number under the daily amount may help. I struggle with getting my sugar numbers under the daily limit so I can't fault you for that…

I say no. Anything that is a regual life activity, such as cleaning I do not count on as calories burned, I don't count any calories I may burn walking during the day at work etc. Anything I do above and beyond my daily routine I count. So if I decided to walk to work one day (which I don't normally do) I would count that,…

I have been hooked on my own make at home pizza lately. I use the Fold It Artisan Flatbread (the kind that you are supposed to fold in half for one sandwich) I take two of those and cut each of them into two (where the fold is supposed to be) I use two pices of Laughing Cow Light Herb and Garlic cheese and spead those on.…

I was/am the same. I got a personal trainer to help me with this and have been seeing him since November. The results have been amazing. He knows what weights I should be at and when I need to change them up. That for me is the only way I would have started. Having said that I know a lot of people on here have said to go…

I had a horendous week last week, and when I say horendous I really mean it, I binged several times, it was terrible. But I logged everything and looking at that last week was enough to wake me up again. It was the first time I had slipped in over a year, so I forgave myself and started back to normal on Monday. We are all…

I will never give up my wine! While I probably don't drink a lot to begin with, I still would never give it up. I instead either make sure I save my calories or I have found a low calorie wine which actually tastes pretty good. You should never give up anything you like, it will only make you want it more and then go…

I track/log everything, it is the only way to stay accountable. I had a horendous week last week and had major binges (1st time in a year) and I logged everything. It made me so disappointed in myself that it was enough to make me get back on track starting today!!!!

No magic pill or advice, it all boils down to willpower and determination!

Oddly enough, I have no goal in mind and I am only 7 pounds away. I know when I first started losing weight my first (and what has turned out to be my only one) reward was when I lost 50lbs I was getting a real Louis Vuitton purse, which I did, since then I haven't really set my sights on anything. I think maybe because I…

I do 1200 calories and I am the most healthy and fit I have ever been. I know this because my Dr has done blood tests etc, I no longer have high blood pressure or cholesterol. If you do 1200 calories right, you can be fit, healthy, have muscle and have a nice shape. I have more energy than I ever have and feel great. So,…

LOL! True, I always find this embarrassing. For me it is feeling the sweat dripping down my back or front, that to me = good burn!

I wouldn't rely on the "in 5 weeks you will weigh..." That is just a generic statement/guideline. There are so many variables. The things I really focus on are my sodium, fat and carb intake and try to make sure I am always under those for my daily allowance. I have yet to be under my daily allowance for sugar, but that…

Not sure what type of Health and Safety regulations you have where you are, but they are not supported in the office work environment where I am because it is a Health and Safety concern.

Last year I didn't as I was trying so hard to be good and I think I needed to break from typical things I would do. But this year, I know myself better and I will have a piece of my cake, in fact I had two pieces (not on the same day) of my husbands birthday cake last weekend, and it was wonderful! One or two splurges is…

I have experimented with both and find my body responds better (weight loss wise) to not eating them back. I may go over at time by 100 cals but really try to stay around the 1200. Everyone is different and different things work for different people, so you have to really listen to what your body is telling you, and…

Never cut anything out. Weight loss and weight maintenance are about learing moderation and exercising your willpower. If you can't do those two things, I think it will be hard for a person to lose weight and maintain the loss. Just my humble opinion.

I try to do little things, like no bun with my meat (weather it be a hot dog, burger, sausage etc). Only one serving, do not go up for seconds. Try to stay away from the creamy salads. Try drinking lots of water before you go to fill you up. But having said that you do need to let yourself enjoy from time to time or you…

What are the calories in this?

That makes a little sad. I hope I like them. Maybe with all the calorie savings in the noodles I can add exta sauce LOL!

Ummm, sounds yummy, thanks so much for the suggestion!

I religiously weigh and measure my food. It helps to give you a good idea of portion size and also helps when I eat out if I can't get the calories on line, I can guess at the size/portion and log that way. It is so helpful to weigh and measure food!

I don't believe in cheat days, cheat days imply that you are doing something wrong when you know you shouldn't and I feel like that is setting up a person for failure. There are days when I eat foods that aren't particually healthy but we are all going to do that from time to time. I make a concious decision to eat…

Awesome story, thanks for sharing. You did awesome. And hey, if they think you are crazy they will at least say look at the crazy girl on the treadmill rather than the crazy girl on the couch!!!
