Welcome to the "program". There's so many of us on here who are eager to support and be supported. You are welcome to friend me....but a little about yourself? (throw it in a msg)

I have given yoga a try, not once or twice, but at least a few dozen tries....beginner yoga, gentle yoga, prenatal yoga, DVDs....hate it passionately (& I don't use hate very often). Give it a go though, but you've got to be fair and try it out several times because the poses are testy and until you get one down perfectly…

perhaps consider meal replacement &/or protein shakes

Bobble head! really? You look AMAZING! Now if you let all these compliments go to your head, then...well...bobble head may just be a good description for ya. lol ;-) Keep it up! I ain't mad at ya.

Most of us adults fail to remember that we didn't go from birth to where we are right now over night. It took time (lots of it), dedication, education/experimentation. That munchkin on your back (if he's yours), you may recall how he magically rolled over for the first time...He did it once and continued to try and do it…

I've a suggestion: Maybe consider revising your "goals". Instead of focusing on "getting skinny" consider other benefits that are definitely more beneficial and worthy of your effort. Granted a mission on getting skinny may work if you are shallow and vain to begin with (not trying to piss anyone who is off)...but a more…

Welcome to MFP! I'm committed to keeping a food/fitness journal for life, so as long as MFP is still going, I plan to be here. You are welcome to add me as a friend if you wish. I could use the help and support as well.

Really?! Girl U R a gem...100% pure certified diamond, ruby whichever one you'd call a best friend, lol. It took courage and insurmountable strength to put yourself out here, and I for one am so glad you did. Your story is so encouraging...so inspirational, deep. I am so happy that you are seeing the beauty, strength, and…

Idk but for me it's the fear of getting to where I want to be just to windup back where I started. It's kinda like when groups/countries go to war then as they're celebrating their victory another rushes in on em & overtakes em...I'm a bit fearful that once I meet my goal I'll get complacent, comfortable & then wham, I'll…

Me. I had a vision of myself years before I fell ill and began gaining all this weight...I was young n quite selfish. Then marriage & kids--my focus was on everyone's health & welfare but mine own...I have come full circle because illness once again struck & I came to the realization that if I didn't care enough to focus…

army cadence....one thing I didn't leave behind when I came out of service...especially from Airborne division.

I love it with fresh fruit.....melons, grapes, strawberries, etc... Atop of a fresh bed of romaine & spinach instead of tuna, shrimp, or chicken is really good too. To throw all of this together into one big salad bowl is absolutely divine, lol

I'm so w/u here...nothing will get a foot up ur behind then to get in the mix of my disciplining my children. I keep the peace under most circumstances but if u question my authority or the way I run my home, especially in front of my munchkins...better start praying...& running!

Deidre Pagnanelli....has had my dream bod since I were a teen.

never judged him to be a good man....still honesty, though far from tactfully displayed, is a quality worth noting. granted he lacks tact in all respects but I've turned down brothers solely on their not meeting my height requirements. no better I know, but what's worst my honesty or my stringing them along because I can…
-
from the other responses, I'll probably get a serious tongue lashing but: truth often hurts....one thing u can say for him is that he's honest with u and himself about what he wants and expects from someone who wants to be with him. can't knock him for that...i call that quality in the making of a truly good man. u have…

this chick has waaaayyyyy too many kids, lol

I've been on practically every anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, mood stabilizing medication out there...Believe, I feel your pain and am not a stranger to your distress. Suggestion: In an attempt to control your portion sizes consider using smaller kid-size dishware and utensils, never opt for second helpings, and leave…

Welcome! Ur either going to love MFP or hate it...It's all in what you put into it. I find reaching nutrition and fitness goals, if turned into a friendly self-competition, can be quite fun and a whole lot less tedious. Figure out what works for you. I like the ease of keeping tabs of my intake that MFP offers...The phone…

My personal "go to" when it's late and I feel as though I'm starving...Very simple, a glass or 2 of skim milk (reg or soy). It settles well in my tummy and quenches that hunger feeling without a ton of unneccessary cals/fat but plenty of protein:-)

I feel ya. What if I reach my goal and am still not satisfied with what I see in the mirror? You know what I've been telling myself when my thoughts go there? I tell myself it's not all about the look, it's really about being able to be a picture of health the healthy way. Then I begin planning my meals or my schedule for…

:flowerforyou: Hello! I'm also a sahm of 3: 2 boys ages 8 & 3 and a girl age 6 in 1 wk. I'd love to be considered for the assignment, as I too could use the support and motivation. IDK much about MFP or how to utilize everything it offers, but here I am...

and a free android app C25K. It's wonderful. I just started running for the first time in over 10 yrs (Yeah! right? and I'd always loved running & was quite good at it) yesterday and am presently using this app. I love it! It lets you know when to begin walking & running and helps give you an idea of where you are in the…
