Natural sugars from fruit etc are actually better due to the fibre in the fruit. There have been soooo many studies on this. No one is saying that you wont lose weight if you eat added and processed "bad" sugars, of course you will if youre still in a caloric deficit. However, added sugars have been shown to be bad for…

I'm 5'11 and currently at 168. I have a goal in mind of 155 but I dont know how this will look on me, so il likely assess as i come close. I got down to around 161 as my lowest before, and i think i could easily have made 155 and looked good. My cals are set at 1500 now, but i work out hard so eat back a lot of my exercise…

Calories! And once i added logging. This is the only thing that has ever worked for me!

This. I have a lower cal breakfast (usually around 350 cal) and lunch (around 400 cal) with 3 snacks in between then save up lots of nommy cals for dinner and dessert! :p

Yep! I pre-log every day. It makes it soooo much easier to keep on track for me. And also, it allows me to keep like 150-200 cals aside every night for dessert! :p

Yup!! I experience this all the time.... if Jasper above is right and this "stevia in the raw" is just dextrose, then that is why.... I do experience cravings when i have pure stevia but definitley not as much as when i have other common sweetners. i read a study once (no idea where from - sorry, but which explained why…

^^ this!! I was desperate for some sweets last week, and i bought a bunch of bags home from the shop.... but i forced myself to the gym for a run before i had any, promising myself i could have them when i got back.... but by the time i was back i was nowhere near as "cravy" haha. I still wanted the sweets though, so i…

Hahah, love this... Biscuit in the UK is a sweet flat cookie kind of thing, usually no chocolate chips or anything like US "cookies though". Biscuit in the US is a scone type bun bread thing that you guys put weird meat gravy stuff on for breakfast!! My mind was blown when I had these over xmas last year though - SO GOOD.

I weigh usually once a week, same time same day.... and i only ever use the analog manual scales (where you move the weighed thing in front of you) at the gym, mid afternoon before a workout ... i hardly ever use my home scales - i dont know why but i dont trust them! haha.

This!! I actually use chopsticks to eat most of my meals, even big tuna salads or whatever. It makes it soooo much better for me.... it takes a lot longer to eat, so feels like youve had more, and it also gives your stomach enough time to actually feel full before youre finished.

Bumpy bump. Awesome post... pretty sure im gonna need to start upping my cals here soon...

Completely agree with most of the posts above.... there is NOTHING wrong with having a little treat in the evenings as long as it fits your cals. Im doing IIFYM most days too, and even with this, as long as it fits into my macros, i will let myself have it. It is this whole mindset of "I CANT have this" that makes people…

Oh my god this made ME tear up...this is a wonderful story. That woman was an amazing mother, and lets hope that boy passes what he learnt on to some of his friends too.... Children can really be very thoughtlessly mean.

It's tough to set weight goals when you have no frame of reference of how that weight will look on you!! This is my problem anyway, I'm 5'11" and am at 171lbs now, but want to get down to 155 ish... however, I have never been that light, so I don't know if thats just completely unachievable. I also have a pretty good…
