When I stick to the very strict plan of healthy eating and exercise most days the weight falls off. But it is very hard to be so strong when life is so busy and ever changing. Let's all keep up the good work.

What is a reasonable weight-loss goal during the challenge? I currently weigh 216.something. I work out like crazy and think without a little sugar munch here and there, and there, and there, I will really drop the weight.

You're so smart! I struggle to eat anything less than 1600 calories. I exercise tons though, so that could be my reason. My nutritionist suggested I eat the same amount of calories every day regardless of exercise because it is helping my body to adjust for eating as a smaller person.

Alcohol loosens me up and keeps me from saying no to unhealthy food and more booze. I always seem to weigh more on Monday's than any other day of the week. I have often used the excuse that my boyfriend is a bad influence but he has been a great influence this year.

It will definitely show on your arms. My experience has been I see additional muscle tone in my arms before anywhere. Stick with it and you will be amazed at the results.

I try not to keep ice cream in the house, because I find it so tempting. I have found that Lindy's gelato helps satisfy the craving. It is portioned out and therefore I usually just eat the one and call it quits. Blue Bunny frozen yogurt is also very tasty and has "helping" enzymes.

I too have seen that. I have been told two different techniques one that has you brush towards your heart in long sweeping motions and the other utilizes circular motions moving towards your heart. Which method are you using?

I'll start today. I did it two times last week, but will do my best to do it every day for the next 30! Janine
